Nearby, Owen and Ren walked in, intrigued by the commotion. "I heard the food here was good," Owen said, nudging Ren.
"There's been an accident at the cafeteria," a boy who bumped into them explained.
"An accident? A good show to watch " Owen raised an eyebrow and dragged Ren along to see the spectacle.
"Teacher, this crazy girl ruined my clothes! You have to punish her," the arrogant girl demanded.
"Hey, watch your mouth. You started this," SaSa defended Sabrina.
"If you don’t do something, I’ll call my dad!" the girl threatened.
"Enough! This is a school, not a battleground," the Deputy Headmistress said, stepping in. "It’s a minor incident. Everyone, go back to your lunch."
Reluctantly, the students dispersed. The girl, still fuming, left to change her clothes. SaSa and Sabrina sat back down, and SaSa suggested, "Let’s get some school lunch. Your lunchbox is destroyed."
"It’s okay. The second box is fine," Sabrina replied, determinedly picking up the remains.
Owen watched with admiration. "She’s something, isn’t she? Still eating after all that."
"Where’s Ren?" he asked, suddenly noticing his friend was missing.
"He’s at the food stand," a nearby student informed him.
"Alright, he’s more interesting than her," Owen remarked, heading over to join Ren. "You heartless scavenger!" he teased, putting a hand on Ren’s shoulder.
"You’re talking about yourself," Ren replied coolly.
Owen grabbed his plate and spotted a table.
"Hey, you two!" he called, dragging Ren over and startling Sabrina and SaSa. Before Sabrina could respond, Owen continued, "it’s was good to meet you here"
Sabrina paused, catching sight of Owen and Ren.
"YOU!" she said, her tone neutral.
Owen raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, it’s me, Owen. Did you forget already?" he teased, trying to lighten the mood.
Sabrina shot him a look. "I didn’t forget, but you cut my speech" she replied, her voice trailing off.
"Hi, I’m SaSa, Sabrina’s best friend," SaSa introduced herself.
"So, you two are A couple of transfer students, Sabrina mentioned, huh" SaSa added, sensing the tension.
"We’re not a couple!" Ren snapped, clearly irritated by the assumption.
Sabrina smirked, "I meant two. Two new students."
"Oh, right," SaSa agreed quickly, hoping to ease the awkwardness.
"Whatever, I don’t mind," Owen said, offering a piece of chicken to Sabrina. "Here, try this."
"I don’t like chicken wings," Sabrina replied, shaking her head.
"She likes fish, but I like wings," SaSa interjected, trying to smooth over the situation.
“Oh, Your SaSa, okay here the wings for you.” SaSa received with a big smile.
"Then here’s some fish," Owen said, taking a piece from Ren’s plate and offering it to Sabrina. The girls exchanged incredulous looks, while Ren’s eyes darkened at the intrusion of his meal.
"Alright, let’s eat," Owen declared, diving into his food. "Why are you still eating from that box? It’s ruined."
"This part isn’t," Sabrina said simply, focusing on the untouched section of her lunchbox.
"Can I have a bite?" Owen asked eagerly, already reaching for a piece before Sabrina could respond. "Oh my grandma! This is delicious!"
Ren sighed, feeling the weight of everyone's attention on him. Reluctantly, he tried the food. "Hmm."
"What does 'hmm' mean?" SaSa asked, curious about Ren's reaction.
"He means it’s delicious," Owen translated, laughing.
