Upon remembering the man, she immediately turned her head, searching for him, hoping that it had all been a dream.
When she came face to face with the stranger, she realized that everything had been real, as real as she remembered. Her face flushed; she felt her cheeks burning.
She was about to cry out, but she immediately stifled it so as not to wake him. She covered her face with her hands, trying to assimilate it all.
She cursed herself for what had happened, thinking how she had been so bold, where had her modesty gone?
She looked at him for a moment. He was very handsome, and as she remembered the night together, she felt an electric current run through her entire body. She got out of bed as best she could, trying to make as little noise as possible so as not to wake him up, as it was best to leave before he could see her. Otherwise, this situation would be very difficult. Diana was really sorry for her behavior and regretted having had so much tequila.
Trying to calm her remorse, she thought that she would not be capable of doing something like that, that if it were not for all the tequila she drank, she would never have done such a crazy thing.
Diana took her clothes and went into the bathroom to freshen up and get dressed. Looking in the mirror, she saw some bruises on her neck, which only reminded her of everything she had experienced. Diana was lost in her thoughts for a moment as she unconsciously touched her neck where the marks were.
As she moved her hand a little more, she realized that something was missing and, desperate, moved her hand all over her neck, looking for a rosary that her grandmother had given her before she died.
Diana searched in vain, as the rosary was nowhere to be found. She shook her clothes, hoping it would come out, but it was useless.
After that, tears began to stream down her face like torrents. It was ironic, she had lost her virginity and her rosary at the same time, the two things that mattered most to her in life. However, she was more saddened by the loss of her rosary, as it was her only memory of her grandmother.
And she felt a great sorrow, remembering her grandmother and the moment she gave it to her. To her, it was almost as if her grandmother was with her next to her, and every time she felt it, it was as if her grandmother caressed her and was close to her.
After all, she got dressed. Because of how drunk she was, she could very well have lost it anywhere, even at the bar. It hurt her a lot, but she had to pull herself together and accept that she would never get it back.
Diana stealthily left the bathroom and, giving one last glance at that stranger, who even asleep looked quite handsome and attractive, prepared to leave. She took hold of the doorknob, and when she was about to turn it, she heard a deep, seductive voice that stopped her cold.
"Are you planning to leave like this without saying goodbye?" the strange man said to Diana. She turned timidly to look at him, and although she wanted to say something, not a single sound came out of her mouth. All she did was open and close her mouth without saying anything. She had no idea what to say.
She became even more nervous when he approached her. She tried not to look as her face flushed instantly when she saw him, wearing only shorts that left his entire back bare.
Diana found him very sexy, strong, and muscular. The hair on his chest really suited him. She could barely make out what the man she had spent the night with, to whom she had given her virginity, looked like.
Diana lowered her head to avoid his gaze and timidly said, "I'm sorry, this shouldn't have happened."
The man was surprised and said, "What? How is it possible that after you seduced me last night, insulted me so we could spend the night together, now you're just telling me you're sorry, that this shouldn't have happened?"
Diana was even more surprised to hear him, as she really didn't know how to react. This was the first time she had been with a man, and she didn't know how she should behave. She thought, I'm so stupid, I don't even know what the hell to say.
"I have no idea what to say. This is the first time I've been in a situation like this," she said hesitantly. "Shouldn't I just take my things and go?"
"Ha! That easy? You come and seduce me, and now you just want to leave just like that? Don't think it will be that easy for you. At least you should give something back for what happened last night."
"What?" Diana nearly choked on her own saliva upon hearing that she should reciprocate for what happened. Was this man crazy or something?
"No way. What happened was because you wanted it too. I never put a gun to your head to be with me. If you didn't want to, you could easily have refused. So I don't owe you anything," Diana said angrily, raising her voice slightly.
"Calm down, don't get upset, it's too early for you to be throwing a tantrum. You know, you could damage my gallbladder," he said with a playful smile.
"How do you expect me to be calm after what you said? This is not how it should be. Not that I have much experience, but I believe this was just a casual encounter between a man and a woman who don't even know each other. So it's best if I leave and forget all about this and pretend it never happened. If for some reason our paths cross again, we'll just be two strangers."
"Under other circumstances, it would have been like that, and instead of asking you for something in return, I would have rewarded you very generously. You know, I'm not usually stingy. That's why many seek me out hoping to receive something in return, and I think they all leave happy. Besides having a good time, financially, they always come out on top."
"But given your case, things can't be that way."
Diana was extremely annoyed; her face did not hide her displeasure. Exasperated, she asked, "And what exactly is my condition, according to you?"
"It was your condition, past tense, not anymore."
"Speak clearly and stop with the nonsense."
"You were a miss, and it's a bit delicate to mess with someone like that, because you could easily force me to marry you or accuse me of taking advantage of you."
"Well, neither of those two things is going to happen, so you can rest assured. And right now, I'm leaving."
Diana thought that by making it clear to him that she had not the slightest interest in him, she could leave and get out of this whole mess once and for all. But that was just what Diana thought.
"Not so fast, we haven't settled the matter yet. You still haven't told me how you're going to compensate me for the night we spent together," he said in a serious and intimidating tone.
Diana became even more annoyed, for what she had thought was a bad joke was becoming a headache. She definitely hadn't gotten out of one mess when she had already gotten into another, even worse one. She regretted having drunk like that and that, because of how angry she was, she ended up doing what she did.
