The Betrothal 2

Guests started to file into the great big hall of the Ohio . It was big enough to contain the whole of London. The hall’s windows gave out romantic scenes as the guests filed in with Owen and high expectations for the evening.

“ I’m going so in trouble now ….” Black Shadow screamed to herself whiles dashing across rooftops and soar- jumping high in the sky.

“ I’m can’t be late Austin would be pretty mad !”she cringed “ He has ways been there for I can’t disappoint him……..again!” Black Shadow dashed down the rooftops on to balconies. ‘Apparently on his parents marriage I couldn’t come around due a sickness ….although he says he’s forgiven me he still brings back on sensitive matters between us . She entered her room quietly through the window and dash straight for the washroom…here she would refresh quickly and head to Austin’s house .

Chiimu barged in “ Do you know how late we are miss?!”

” You mean two minutes thirty seconds late?!” came the reply.

Chiimu was obviously pissed but had to keep her cool for some reason.

No one asked you to be a mother…..El-Lynna thought …..smirking.

”I’m giving you thirty minutes!” She banged the door and left.

”Sheesh ….. chill mummy it’s not like it my ‘big’ day” El-Lynna whispered.

She looked at her gown and smiled…..I’d be the most stunning woman in the hall. Smirking at herself ,she got dressed.

The Antwi family entered the ballroom ( the hall) with Mr. Antwi leading .

Almost the crowd where obviously captivated by the Antwi family’s only daughter.

Austin rose from his seat…struck hard by El-Lynna’s elegance,fierceness ,her god-like structure .

She was the beauty of the crowd .El-Lynna Antwi.

She smirked knowing the awe she had purposely caused.

She went straight to where the Ohio’s were sitting and curtsied. During which she lifted her head graciously and smiled to Austin.

Austin was still struck with awe as she headed back to the crowd . He had never seen this aspect to her before . She was beautiful but not this beautiful….

” Wait !” Austin was practically sweating…with eye talk he excused himself from his father.

Chiimu glanced through the hall and there was no sign of El-Lynna. Mr. Antwi also started to get worried. Immediately, Chiimu got a text. It was from El-Lynna which said she was meeting up with Austin.

Chiimu giggled glancing at her husband. Mr. Antwi immediately got the message. The two then walked over to the Ohios . Surprisingly, the Ohios met them half way. The four exchanged pleasantries and started making jokes and having fun like old times.

Meanwhile ….. Austin and El\-Lynna were intense in a dance outside in the garden. He twirled her and she moved graciously according to the invisible beat only love could hear.

She giggled and he laughed. It was beautiful to watch as a her hair band had removed and her hair swayed through the air. Thoughts of them , since they were little, now. Austin is not for you! The thought hit her hard . She immediately pull away.

“ I’m sorry…..we should not be like thi—“ He interrupted her .

” No this what was meant to be — “

”NO!” with teary eyes she run off.

Austin collapsed to the ground as tears poured down his eyes ….. No! I’m going after her.

El-Lynna was heading towards the ball room, towards her family, towards a life away from cheating on someone’s husband…..

Austin grabbed her hand and yanked her to him.

” Quit squirming…ok? Hear me out ok? And after this evening we can choose to never cross paths again…” He took a deep breath..

” Look ,El-Lynna I being wanting to tell this the day we laughed together…I might not be able to say this ever again . I ,Austin, have met numerous woman ….there’s none more noble, beautiful, sweet, kind and captivating as you are , and that ..SIGH..I love you”

El-Lynna gasped. She pulled him to her .

It was as time stood still just for them😉.
