The rain poured down in sheets, turning the city streets into rivers of shimmering asphalt. Luke hurried through the downpour, his collar turned up against the cold, his footsteps echoing in the empty streets.
As he turned the corner, he stumbled, his foot catching on a loose cobblestone. With a curse, he fell to the ground, pain shooting through his ankle.
Sun heard the commotion from inside the flower shop and rushed to the door, concern etched on his face. He swung the door open and stepped outside, his eyes widening in surprise at the sight before him.
Luke lay sprawled on the wet pavement, rain-soaked and injured. Without hesitation, Sun rushed to his side, kneeling beside him in the rain.
"Are you okay?" Sun asked, his voice filled with concern.
Luke nodded, gritting his teeth against the pain. "I think I twisted my ankle," he said through clenched teeth.
Sun didn't hesitate. "Here, let me help you," he said, slipping an arm around Luke's waist and helping him to his feet.
Together, they stumbled back into the flower shop, the rain still pouring down outside. Sun led Luke to a chair and gently examined his ankle, his touch gentle and reassuring.
"It's not broken, but it's definitely sprained," Sun said finally, relief flooding through him. "You'll need to stay off it for a few days."
Luke nodded, grateful for Sun's help. "Thank you," he said softly, his gaze meeting Sun's.
Sun smiled, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of those piercing blue eyes. "It's no problem," he said, his voice warm.
And as they sat there, bathed in the warm glow of the flower shop, Sun knew that this was only the beginning of something extraordinary.

AFTER FEW DAYS
The bell above the door tinkled softly as Luke stepped into the flower shop, his eyes scanning the room. Sun looked up from behind the counter, a warm smile on his face, but it faltered slightly when he saw Luke.
Sun's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Luke, his hands trembling slightly as he reached for a bouquet of flowers.
"Can I help you?" Sun asked, trying to keep his voice steady despite the unease creeping into his chest.
Luke took a moment to reply, his gaze lingering on Sun's face. "I'm looking for some flowers," he finally said, his voice low and rough.
Sun nodded, relieved. "Of course. What occasion are they for?"
Luke hesitated, as if unsure how to answer. "My grandfather's birthday," he said finally, his voice softer than before.
Sun's heart raced at the mention of Luke's grandfather, his mind racing back to the night they had met in the rain. He had thought about Luke often since then, unable to shake the memory of their brief encounter.
"I see," Sun said, trying to keep his voice steady. "Well, you've come to the right place. What kind of flowers are you looking for?"
Luke shrugged, his gaze flicking around the shop. "Something... bright," he said after a moment, his eyes lingering on a bouquet of sunflowers in the corner.
Sun followed his gaze and smiled, his heart fluttering in his chest. "Sunflowers it is then," he said, moving to gather the flowers.
As Sun worked, Luke watched him, his expression unreadable. There was something about the way Sun moved, with a grace and ease that seemed out of place in the harshness of the city, that drew Luke in.
"Here you go," Sun said, holding out the bouquet of sunflowers. "I hope they brighten your grandfather's day."
Luke took the flowers, his fingers brushing against Sun's as he did so. "Thank you," he said softly, his gaze meeting Sun's for the briefest of moments before he turned and left the shop.
Sun watched him go, a strange warmth spreading through his chest. There was something about the man with the piercing blue eyes that intrigued him, something that made him want to know more.
