When looking at the codex it counting the enemy that mark by it and attacking like a homing weapon. The goblins is decreased so fast by killing them. Around the area that tree is fallen because goblins is cutting them in their way.

I hear a lot of screams that goblin has been killed by the weapon and some goblin that try attacking me is can't get close because the book is protecting me by its each page of it.

She saw a guy that running in the forest again but running different directions. and startle for him to see a guy running in the forest. but because its dark she only see an shadow and eyes.

He is looking to a girl that meet his eyes why going into different direction.
