CHAPTER 2 - THE NEW MEMBER
The clock showed 7:57 A.M.
Andarte was headed to the meeting room.
She was accompanied by Cathy.
Cathy Amber
I have called in both Mr. Amas and Mr. Derek.
They reached the 7 th floor.
A few seconds of walking brought them in front of the oak door of the meeting room.
Cathy pushed open the door for Andarte, and then she followed her.
The members inside stood up and bowed their head respectfully.
Andarte Caddle
Let us all sit down.
Andarte's eyes glanced at the one empty chair on her right.
She gave a swift glance at Cathy before sitting down.
Cathy whispered to Andarte.

That is supposed to be the seat for the newest member.
Then she started talking.
Andarte Caddle
Alright everyone, today, we have gathered here -------
She was cut off by a brutal knocking at the door.
Before she could reply, the door swung open and a young man came in.
She scanned the person... Top to bottom, bottom to top.
Then, she composed herself and said.
Andarte Caddle
And... Who are you supposed to be...??
Damon Ashford
Oh sorry... I forgot to introduce myself!!!
The person sat on the only empty chair, took the glass of water and finished the water in one gulp.
Damon Ashford
Now, that's a hell lot better!!!
Andarte was still staring at him.
The guy, seeing Andarte staring said.
Damon Ashford
I am Damon Ashford!!!
Damon Ashford
The new Team Leader of the CEO's main security team.
Damon Ashford
And you are...??
Cathy Amber
Yes... That is supposed to be Mr. Damon Ashford.
Andarte stared at Damon. Scanning him with her electric blue pupils.
Damon Ashford
So rude!!!
I know that I am quite good looking, but that doesn't mean that you will check me out!!!
That's sexual harrasment!!!
Every one turned to look at Andarte.
Andarte Caddle
I am Andarte Caddle.
Andarte Caddle
The "CEO" you are supposed to be guarding.
Damon stared at her quietly and said.
Andarte Caddle
Excuse me...??
Damon Ashford
I mean, does being the CEO, make you above the law??
Andarte was shocked at his reply.
Damon Ashford
I will not file a complaint this time. But, please refrain yourself from checking people out in the future.
Andarte Caddle
... You!!!!
Cathy Amber
It is getting late ma'am. Our directors are waiting.
Andarte sighed and composed herself. Then she said.
Andarte Caddle
Ok, so as we are all here for the monthly meeting, let us start without any further ado.
Andarte Caddle
And as for you Mr. Ashford... I'll deal with you later...
Andarte thought, through gritted teeth.
