THE WITCHES.

The sun rise had begun and the day was on its way.The bright sunlight shone on the lake,it was a breathtaking view.As soon as sun rised,they got up and set upon their journey. They knew they had no time to lose.

The prince and his men were on thier way to the witch's that was now almost 15 miles away.They kept travelling by the horses,ridding along the lake.

The men were also observing and looking for a cottage , in the remote and cold woods,as told by the healer.The woods were quiet,nothing except the tall trees could be seen.

Suddenly,one of the men caught sight of a gush of smoke,coming from the right.

" I see something,a smoke perhaps..." one of the men exclaimed to the other.

Soon the smoke caught attention of the prince as they moved forward.It was indeed a cottage,the chimney of which produced the smoke.The prince ordered his men to stop as soon as he spotted the cottage.

It was a shabby,worn out cottage,well ofcourse what could be expected of a witch's place.

However,the prince Hans ordered his men to stay,and he along with Rudolph got off the horses.They walked towards the small tacky door .The door was broken with many tiny holes in it.

"""thuk thuk thuk.....""" Rudolph knocked at the door as he gestured the prince to step back.

Nobody opened.

Rudolph turned back and looked at Hans.

" Is there really a need for this door,after that many holes" thought Rudolph,frowning at Hans.

Just when Rudolph knocked twice and bent down to look through one of the hole,a shrieking voice came.

"who is ittttt???" a shrill voice came

Rudolph startled and hopped back.

The door opened and A short heighted women stood infront of the door,with a grumpy look on her round face,with her long nose and three eyes.One eye at the forehead and the other two on her face.She wore a long brown gown with some buttons on the neck and a black lace at the corners,staring with her thre grave eyes at Rudolph,with her raised eyebrows.Seeing this ,one thing was clear to prince and his men that this ..................was surely a witch.

The prince rushed forward and bowed,he remebered the words of the healer.So he decided to deal with the witches in a respectful manner.Rudolph folowing prince Hans,quickly bent and bowed to her.

"oohhhh! look what we got here sisters......" the witch said in her shrill and piercing voice as she called out to her sisters.

"we need your help,the great healer of German has sent us to you" interupted the prince.

The witch paused and looked forward,at the prince.

"The German healer you say,huh?" another shrill voice came from behind the first witch.

As both,Hans and Rudolph twisted to look who was it,two more witches came out,but they had four eyes unlike the first one.There were two eyes on the forehead and other two in the face.Only the eyes and dress seemed to have a difference. one wore a green gown with a goden lace and the other wore a black one.They looked a bit older than the first one.

"so the german healer sent you,then i suppose we should help you." continued the third witch.

Rudolph smiled and looked at the prince.He was happy that the witches had agreed to help them so easily.Han's face was however confused,He knew that the witches would not be that easy to convince.

The prince however,gestured gratefully and told them what he was looking for.

The witches listened carefully to the prince,and they agreed to help,show the way to the prince

"oh! so youuuu....are looking for the...... AVALANCH ROSE ,thats no problem we could guide you .......but we have a demand or you could say a..... condition."
