The Nightmare Begins

As the town people and Mayor head to the Moonmare mansion , they find it turned into ashes " but how can it be possible " Mr Santaro said horrified as they went near they found 4 burnt bodies of  boys.

These were boys who went into the Moonmare mansion and broke the shadows free , " these boys have realised the vengeful spirit of Victor Michael and Gabriel and now we don't know where they are so i suggest everyone to be careful."

The boys parents took their sons burnt bodies with sadness and tears in their eyes , the people were more scared than being sad.

The Ryan's were returning from a business trip , they also took their two kids too .

“Damm it was such a boring trip” my sister Victoria said while whining, as I rolled my eyes at her my mother said “don’t roll your eyes young lady remember what I said about rolling eyes.”

“Yes mama ,I know I know no rolling eyes at family” mimicking her voice while my father laughed at it my mother glared at me.

While looking out of the window I caught a glimpse of my classmate Giovanni Santoro although I have seen him a lot of times in school but this time he looked different , like was not himself.

‘doesn’t  he look a bit different’ , I thought to myself as I was looking at him suddenly he noticed me and smiled ‘it was odd he never smiles at me’ as I was thinking that the car came at a halt .

I was about to hit my head on the front seat but my sister pulled me back “hey atha are you ok , you could have hurt your I have told you several times to wear your seat belt.”she said scolded me.

But I was still deep in my thoughts. It looked like she was blabbering.

“hey are u listening to me” she flicked my forehead as I came to my senses “ouch! Hey why would you do it . I asked, she with a glare said “because you were not listening to me and how many times I told you to wear seat belts.”

“ hey girls now no fighting we are  home” my father said as we were getting out of our car a Mrs Santoro came running and huffing towards us.

Between her breaths she said “he.. he is back” as the word left her mouth my parents face turned pale as a ghost, I asked in curiosity “who” and she said in a high-pitched scared voice “Victor Moonmare”.

Looking at my parents paled face I knew something was wrong ' who is Victor Moonmare ' I thought to myself and why does it look like my parents saw ghosts.

“We have to leave Mathis , we can’t stay here. He is back , please Mathis do something” my mother cried as she was telling my father who was still shell shocked.

“ Dad who is Victor Moonmare” asked my sister , my father came to his senses and in a firm voice said “let’s go inside we will talk there and Melissa don’t be scared I won’t let him harm us again.”

Mrs Santoro was still standing there so we bid her goodbye and started to head inside , as we all went in it was pin dropped silence no said a word until we sat down in the front hall sofa.

My father cleared his voice and said “ Victor Moonmare is your mother’s  father” as those words left my father’s  lips it felt like a bomb drop on me and Vic.

Together we said “ what!!” Both of us were shocked ' we have another grandfather and we don’t  even know that and why is everybody so scared of hearing his name?’

My father continued “Victor Moonmare was not a good man , he was cruel and ruthless towards poor people and treated everyone badly he was.."

Vic asked in curiosity mid cutting my father’s  sentence “where is he now? and why haven’t  we ever heard about him ?” ,Vic asked the question which was playing in my head.

“he is de… ad , he died when I was 17”, said my mother in a sad voice “so what do u mean he is back” I asked my mother “mom seriously you believe in ghosts” I asked laughing.

“THIS NOT FUNNY ATHENA MARY RYAN’S” my mother said raising her voice , we all were shocked as we looked at her with horrified expression my mother has never raised her voice in front of anyone let alone me .

“Melissa I know you are stressed and scared but don’t  raise your voice at Athena, she doesn’t  know anything.”my father said to my mother.

“I know Mathis but what if he hurts us again I can’t  lose you all” said my mother as tears filled my mother’s  eyes .

It broke all of our heart to see my mother like this me and my sister walked to my mother as we hugged her tightly “I am sorry mum but I am sure I will be ok” I said to my mother.

“ it all started after Victor  your mother’s  father , his friend Michael and his friend Gabriel died in Moonmare mansion…” as my father was saying it was interrupted by    the door bell rang as our face turned pale…
