Oh Yeah, the meeting!!

I immediately freed by pillow and sat up. I picked my phone and clicked on the meet link, sent by our in charge.

All the trainees joined in quickly and the meeting started.

"Hello, everyone. I hope all the trainees have reached Paris well. I am Mr. Aresh Williams, the head of your training department."

He continued, "The purpose of this meeting is to inform you all about the slight change in your schedule. Your training, which was to be started from tomorrow will be delayed by 2-4 days. The staff which were supposed to train you all are not available currently, and we are planning to arrange another set, so your training sections will be delayed. Sorry for the inconvenience but in the meantime you can enjoy the city of Paris. See you soon, trainees."

The meeting ended abruptly.

"Wow.... A short vacation even before the training." I threw myself on the bed.

Suddenly my phone rang.

I looked at the phone lying right beside me. The screen lit up with my best friend's name, Pearl.

I quickly picked up the call.

"Hey Pearl!!" I said

"Hello Tara, how was your flight?"

"It was nice a fly like always, but Akshay was bothering a lot t-"

"Hey! I'm not talking about how you flew the plane. I am talking about your flight with Darsh!! How did it feel to be in the same plane as him, even better flying the plane he was in. Hehehehe" I could imagine Pearl's teasing face through phone. She was teasing me like always.

I could never win against their teasing.

"It was quite hot" I said, remembering all the blushing memories.

"It was quite hot, or He was quite h-"

"PEARL?! How could you be so nonchalant" I interrupted her. I could never let her complete that sentence.

"Okay Okay I'll stop. But honestly tell me how was it? Did you guys talk? Did you tell him your hi-"

"I am staying next to him" I said, interrupting her again.

"......"

She said nothing.

"um..... Pe-"

"OH MY GOD, TARA???? DON'T TELL ME YOU ARE STAYING IN THE SAME HOTEL, ON THE SAME FLOOR, AND RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO DARSH?????????! OMG TARA I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! GO AND TELL HIM YOU ARE HUS BIGGEST FAN EVER AND EVEN GET A GOOD AU-"

"I can't tell him I'm his fan" my words stunned her.

"What? Why Tara? It was your wish to meet him, wasn't it? You always prayed for him to visit our city for his concert, didn't you? So why are you backing off now Tara? Why??" I could clearly sense that Pearl was struck with Denial.

Of course, she would be shocked to her this because no one knows how huge fan I am of Darsh better than her.

"It's because..... He has came here as 'Darsh Ral: a person' and not as 'Darsh Ral: the singer'. He's here to enjoy his personal life, away from the hustle -bustle of celebrity life. So why do I bother him? Why should I remind him of the celebrity he is when he clearly wants to spend some time as a normal person."

Pearl said nothing, she remained quiet, thinking deeply.

"I am so proud of you Tara. I really love the way you think. The way you respect his choices, that's a solid thing a fan so know and follow. Damn girl, I love you!! You're so nice" Pearl's happy vibes were reaching me all the way to Paris.

"And by the way Darsh asked me to be his friend, can you believe it Pearl??" I said.

"FRIEND???? BRO, SO YOU GUYS TALKED AND HE ASKED YOU TO BE HIS FRIEND?? AMAZING!! I NEED TO TELL THIS TO HIM. I'VE WON THE BET YOU KNOW, SEE YA!! I'LL TALK TO YOU LATER"

"Who, Pearl? Pearl?"

She hung the call.

"I doubt who was she talking about? I'll ask her next time. But for now" my eyes landed on my favorite novel.

"Time to Read about my ultimate pair!" I said As I picked up the book and began reading.
