Chapter 2 SO EMBARRASSED

"Kiba I am nervous, are you nervous" Naruto looked at Kiba, who had Akamaru on his head

"Me? hah, nooo I am not, nervous at all" Kiba brushed his brown hair behind his ear

 Naruto inwardly rolled his eyes 'Seriously kiba if you are lying don't shake your voice very much'

"Kiba  Inuzuka"

A girl with brown hair came outside a cat following her from behind

"here!"

"Mm, well you must be new, as per your attributes you are selected as a guard/soldier of the imperial family." Her brown eyes raised upward a little

"You got a new mission and you shall come with me, I am Tamaki the leader of the squad by the way, I would like to remind you that for this mission, Dogs. Are. Not. Allowed" Tamaki said emphasizing each word, and she went to the second floor

"If dogs aren't allowed then why is bringing a cat?! Dammit Hey! Buddy it seems Akamaru will be in your care for today"

'woof'

"wait kiba-"

"Bye Naruto got to go" Kiba ran and followed behind Tamaki

'dogs aren't that much welcomed in the court either' Naruto sighed and rethought his luck again. The first day in court and he is bringing an animal with him don't know what to do anymore 'From now on I should burn incense for luck it seems'

Naruto POV

Kiba really knows how to put someone in a difficult situation. Well maybe i can hide Akamaru in my bag or something, Akamaru will stay silent right, Akamaru?

'Woof'

Akamaru's really so cute i want to squash his face so much. Well time to focus on matter at hand right now

I slightly opened the door, okay naruto inhale exhale its no big deal it's your first time and you'll do great. I tried to convince myself as much as i can, that i can do this and I'll be great dattebayo

I punched the air in my mind but it currently seemed that i punched the air in real. Woah stop looking at me,   I literally feel so  much embarrassed right now I wish i could dig a hole and hide in there the maids,the other advisors and butlers were looking at me like I got a screw loose, i know that I am probably red like Ino 's lipstick rightnow

"Hey, are you a newb here" a person wearing a white shirt came to me.   His hair was jet black and bristly it looked like a porcupine to me for some reason

"Um Yeah" I answered nervously, is it superior to bullying the weak junior scenarios, I always see in opera tv shows

After all with that scar on his face, he looked like an utter gangster to me

"Nice to meet you, I am Obito, an advisor here"

That was not what I expected at all

"Since you are new here, I'll tell you something" This Obito guy pulled me into a corner, okay is the scenario going to start, better be ready. I clenched my hand into a fist ready for what was going to come

"King Sasuke and the previous king are quarreling right now so the morning court session will be held in the afternoon"

Ah it seems my assumption is totally wrong, Obito guy is really just a good person. Appearance can be deceptive today the fact was proved to me

From what Obita told me it seems that king sasuke (soon to be emperor)  quarreled with the emperor, but for what tho? royal affairs are always not revealed that much to the public, so hearing about them is once in a lifetime opportunity why should i let it go

"Why though?" I asked

Obito looked left and right, after making sure that there were only some advisors in here who are engaged in their own world he spoke cautiously

"Previous king arranged a marriage to king sasuke and forcefully made him marry a princess. But king sasuke wanted to find true love and marry that one person only bit fairytale imagination the king has. I'll assure you one thing tho even though king sasuke is dubious and clueless in love he is merciless, ruthless and precise in his duties . Always maintaining the high and mighty look I never saw him bow down or say sorry to anyone before. Maybe he had bow down to his family but to outsiders he had never done that and never would"

"Obito" A voice called from behind us

I saw Obito shudder, he turned around nervously like nothing happened he smiled nervously

A person with long black hair came he wore red royal robes, his walking held some magnificient demanor to it

"Hey Madara what can I do for you"

I didn't expect i would meet Madara Uchiha here, on my first day itself. He is one of the strongest duke to ever exist his power overshadows many. I only read about him in book, I hope i didn't open my eyes too wide, don't wanna make him see me as a creep

"You need to help me be in my best attire today, Senju clan's holding a banquet and i need to be in tip-top shape. The perfect person to have ever existed, I need 'him' to be impressed" Madara said as he flicked his hair of his shoulder and walked

"I am always being his umbrella or shadow every single time and on top of it, a single innocent guy like me  is forced to eat dog food every time he goes to Senju clan" Obito whispered to me before following behind Madara.

Well that was unexpected. Seems like i need to ask Grandpa about something.
