On the very next day, Madeline could hardly contain her excitement.

As soon as she got off work, she arrived at the company gate right on time.

About ten minutes later, a handsome man in an expensive suit walked out of the hall and looked at Madeline from head to toe.

Seeing the way she was dressed, Julius paused for a moment and frowned slightly.

Julius:– "Get in the car."❄️❄️❄️

After opening the door, he bent down and stepped inside the luxury vehicle, quickly followed by an eager Madeline.

The car soon pulled over in front of a designer brand store upon entering the city's shopping district. Julius walked inside with Madeline and pointed at an exquisite dress and stiletto heels that were on display. "That outfit. Go ahead and see if it fits nicely."

Before Madeline could even respond, she was ushered into the dressing room by the shop assistant.

Checking herself out in the mirror, Madeline smiled in satisfaction. The dress was beautiful and fitted her well.

When she gracefully walked out of the dressing room with the hemline of her dress in her hand, Julius looked at her with a straight face.

Madeline asked deliberately with a sweet smile.

Without uttering a reply, Julius turned around and took out his credit card to pay at the front desk. After purchasing the items, he didn't give Madeline a chance to change back into her old outfit. He walked towards the exit, saying,

Carefully clutching her hemline, Madeline followed him and asked curiously,

Madeline:– "Am I going to be wearing this for the rest of the night?"⁉️

Without even looking back, Julius slid into the backseat of the vehicle. Apparently, he didn't care that it was not comfortable for her to walk in high heels. He directed the driver to take them to a high-class club.

As soon as Madeline sat beside Julius and shut the door, the luxury car suddenly roared forward.

The abrupt movement caught her by surprise. She leaned back and instinctively held the arm of the handsome man next to her.

Julius raised his eyebrows at Madeline. The startled woman immediately withdrew her hand with an awkward smile.

Madeline:– "Oh, I'm sorry."😅😅

Half an hour later, the two finally arrived at

their destination.

Madeline held Julius' arm as they stepped out of the car together. As soon as they walked in the club, their eyes were greeted by an elegant and luxurious party scene.

From the moment they entered the club, several people from different tables turned around and stared at them.

Remaining calm despite the attention, Madeline wore a pleasant smile. Amidst the bright lights and glistening decorations, she was thrilled by this development.

Her handsome date had previously made it clear that he had no interest in her whatsoever!

Julius said to Madeline in a low voice and reached out his arm like a gentleman. As for the other women fawning over him, he didn't even spare them a second glance.

Smoothing out her dress, Madeline obediently walked up to him and took her place by his side once more.

Julius responded indifferently,

Julius:– "This is Zoey Turner, the daughter of the president of Turner Group."❄️❄️

Madeline nodded politely and said,

Madeline:– "Nice to meet you, Miss Turner. You look lovely."☺️

Zoey Turner:– "Whatever¡¿🙄😬💢"

Zoey replied through gritted teeth. Her face darkened as she glared at Madeline. Without saying another word, she turned around and left immediately.

Watching her storm off, Madeline let go of Julius ' arm and looked at him with a frown.

Madeline:– "What is going on here, Mr. Glynn? Are you using me as an excuse to dissuade those women from approaching you on our first date? It blows my mind that you would do such a thing."⁉️💢

Julius didn't take her seriously. He raised his eyebrows and shrugged.

Julius:– "Didn't you say you wanted a date? Here we are in each other's company. Is there any difference?"❄️❄️🤨

Madeline:– "Whatever you say." 🙄💢💢

After that, Madeline fell silent.

There was a big difference. This was nothing like a date.

Gazing intently at her angry face, Julius took a glass of champagne from the waiter and offered it to her.

Julius:– "Do you want to be my girlfriend? Let's see if you have what it takes. I hope you're tough enough to withstand the hatred and jealousy from these other women."😼❄️❄️

Raising her eyes and taking the champagne, Madeline took a sip without hesitation and looked at him firmly.

Madeline:– "Will you make me your girlfriend after I pass the test?"🌜🌜

Seemingly indifferent, Julius remained elusive and didn't give a straight answer.

Holding her breath, Madeline tiptoed and wrapped her arms around his neck, whispering in his ear seductively,

Madeline:– "I'll take that as a yes."☺️

Julius took a step back and looked at her coldly with narrowed eyes.

Wearing a bright smile on her face, Madeline didn't care about his reaction at all. She was a courageous woman who never backed down from a challenge.

Besides, how hard could it be? They were just some petty women who posed no significant threat! This was going to be a cakewalk.

After a moment's silence, Julius pursed his lips and said,

Julius:– “There is one more thing. You have to consume all the wine they give me whenever they offer me a drink.”❄️❄️

Madeline's eyes widened in bewilderment.

Hearing his odd request, Madeline was stunned and almost spewed out the champagne in her mouth.

She was just a mere bodyguard and an assistant to him, wasn't she?

This jerk was really good at exploiting her!

Fortunately, Madeline had developed a high tolerance to alcohol. This task was going to be a breeze.

Julius took Madeline's hand and walked across the hall, bumping into familiar faces and acquaintances who all offered them a glass of wine. The woman who bragged that she had never gotten drunk in the past had consumed so much alcohol for him. Soon enough, Madeline reached the point where she couldn't keep track of how many glasses she had had.

Julius:– "How are you doing? Still okay?"🌬️ ❄️❄️

Julius whispered close to her ear, with his arm around her waist.

Madeline's eyes were still clear, but her cheeks were a bit red. She also seemed to be more relaxed.

Julius noticed the deep dimple on her cheek as she flashed her signature smile. Madeline inched closer to her date and replied,
