Chapter 5: The Prince and Princess of Bongshay

The smell drove rya crazy, she shot 3 arrows at the three figures and they all caught them."ha ha ha ha!" the last one laughed. "cousin, who are your friends?" he said sinisterly. "you are of no kin to me!" mark yelled. "Oh but I am. Remember cousin." He said back, his grin was clear white. "Oh cousin, how much I've missed you. You'd like it on the other side we have so many, how do you say perks. See my elven body was weak compared to this orc body." He said. "Join me and you can have all the riches this world you desire cousin. You get used to losing your purity." He added. The voice echoed off the trees. " Went down that road remember, I like this path better." Mark said. "Oh yes, I remember, the one who turned back such a shame." The orc said. "Demetrius its not too late for you, come back to the light. Your mother—" "Is happy where she is and leave it at that." He said cutting him off in a growl. "Kill the wolf boy, or infact, just torture him." He ordered the dark wolf. It lunged Kiba's direction and Ozaku shot a fireball in its direction. It caught the fireball with its sword and got pushed back a few feet before it deflected the fireball into the air. "Try harder this should be fun." He said then lunged again. "Take care of our vampire friends can you."The orc ordered. The three figures jumped Rio and Rya. Rio took two on and let Rya have the other. "Come cousin, let us play like when we were young elves." Demetrius said pulling out a broadsword. "Yea, and lose like when we were young elves." Mark said pulling his blade out. The battle lasted for half an hour until finally a horn sounded in the distance. The five fell back. "Your lucky cousin. My master calls me." Demetrius said walking away backwards. After they disappeared kiba turned back to his human form. The smell of innocent blood was still in the air but not as strong. "Lets get back in town before sundown." Mark insisted. On their way back to town they passed a herd of buffalo and heard wolf howls in the distance. "Real wolfs, not my kind." Kiba said. Rio gave him a look of relief. When they finally go to the city the sun was reaching its peak. The hottest hour of the day. "So those 5 were who?" Kiba asked. "They call themselves the furious five, it used to be six but—" "You turned on them." Rio put his imput in. "Yes." Mark replied. "They are the elite team of the dark lord." He added. On their way to the hotel they noticed something different. Less soliders were in the street and more police officers were out. The smell of innocent blood was faint on a few officers but it didn't phase kiba. The way the wind blew was erie tho, as if someone was waiting to have a standoff. The street was still packed full, a pickpocket could have a field day."I'll be back, I'm gonna try something new.: Kiba said suddenly." Meet me at the hotl." He said walking off. He paid for a cloack and threw it on and walked through the crowd. "Lets see how this works. "He whispered to himself. As he walked past people he snatched bags ever so lightly and hid them under his cloak. By the thirtieth one he decided to quit and go back to the hotel. "I come bringing presents." He said walking through the door. All you heard was guns cocking." We been waiting." A man said. A gun was facing the tip of kibas nose. "Get down, or stay down." The man said. He wore a bandana so all you could see was his eyes. His hair was as short as rio's hair but lighter. As kiba looked around the room he saw that rio, rya, and mark were tied up. He got on the floor and they proceeded to tie him up. "Where's the money?" The man said. "Back pocket." Kiba said with a grunt. The man checked his back pocket and left with his crew, leaving the four of them tied up. "Can you reach your dagger?" Kiba asked rio. "Almost got it." He replied. It took forever for rio to get loose, but as soon as he did he got everyone else cut loose in an instant. The room was trashed and messy from the bandits work. "Luckily they didn't get everything." Kiba said standing up." I should of smelled them from down the hall, but all I smell is that broken bottle of perfume." He added. Rio took his hat off and placed it upside down on the ground. "What you got left pour it in here, then we can see what we are working with. Kiba poured all 30 bags into the hat. It took 2 hours and a half to count it all. "God kiba, you went on a fuckin spree." Rio said in amazement. Kiba divided up the spoils up between the four of them equally and threw his cloack back on." Like my new styles? It has a hood and everything." He said putting the hood and mask on." You guys should get one." He suggested. Mark grinned "You're not hot?" He asked. "Nope, actually its cooler with it on, must be the design. "He replied "I'm down for one, besides it matches my hat." Rio said putting his hat back on. "Lets head out tho, its our last day and Bongshay is 10 days away. "Rio insisted. "Do you guys wanna clean up or leave the room how it is?" Rya asked looking out the door. "room service is on the way too." The guys looked at each other and answered her question in unison. "Leave it." And left the room, by the time they got to the end of the hall room service got to the room. "Damn rock stars always fuckin shit up!" The attendant said. "Let's get a car. We can afford one now." Kiba suggested "I'll pay for it." They went to a car lot and Kiba paid for an SUV. Enough room for them to put their weapons in the back and for them to relax. As they set out for their ride they could still see ships getting sent out from 10 miles away from the city. "10 days, in this car? I think I'm gone like this." Rya said and plugged in some earphones in her ears. Rio had his hat covering his face, as big as it is it covered half of his chest too. Kiba pulled out his bible out and started studying it and Mark tried to find a decent station as he drove. Even in his human form kibas claws were noticeable, it caught marks eye. Not too charp but not too dull, the perfect point was to them. As the continued to ride two sets of explosions happened up the road. Before mark was able to hit the brakes another explosion happened next to the car sending it in a 360 spin. Kiba dropped his bible , ruio jumped up, and rya had her music up so loud she didn't notice a thing. When the car stopped kiba jumped out the car with 3 kunais at hand, rio jumped out with his dagger ready. When the dust started to clear to human children arose. One older the other younger. The little boy saw the weapons and readied his hand with a wand. "I call parley! I'll be damned if I get attacked again today!!" He shouted "Oh calm down, we almost blew up their car Michael." The older female said. "But gabriella I just can't take another attack, I'm drained." He told her. "Where are you from?" Kiba asked "That is a good question. We are from the magic city of bongshay, district 9 to be exact, looks like your heading that way...." He looked in the back of the vehicle. "And expecting a fight too. Well if your going that way can we ride with you, my father will be oh so pleased and treat you well. He's the rebel king in Bongshay." He said with a grin. "Oh great, royalty. Sure kid hop in." Rio said with a laugh. "Names Michael, Michael Trickster. And this is my big sister Gabriella." He said offering his hand to shake. Michael was only about 5 foot 6 inches tall but long hair that came past his shoulders. His sister on the other hand was 6 foot, hair came to the small of her back in the ponytail. They all got back and piled into the car. "Bongshay is a magic city? I didn't know that." Kiba said. "Oh yea, I garuntee by the time you leave you'll learn a spell or two, your gonna need them anyways if your gonna fight there, hell you need magic just to walk or you will be stuck to the ground, magic makes the gravity there real real heavy." Gabriella said "This should be interesting." Kiba said. "I'll teach you the gravity spell, hopefully you're a fast learner cause I'm a great teacher." Michael said.
