Depression

Looking Najeh directly in the eyes, Sophia threw herself into his arms and wrapped his waist tightly. Najeh was taken aback.

Sophia had no regrets now! 'Terrific!'

The warmth from the woman in his arms stunned Najeh.

He pushed Sophia away forcefully and lifted her cute chin up with his slender finger, "Nice try. You think this way I will let you go and you could stay with your darling Cyrus?"

"Dream on!"

His brutal look frightened Sophia, and her heart skipped a beat in one instant.

Najeh had serious manic depression. Her ignorant rupture with him had sped up this sickness.

Obviously, he became manic again!

Sophia would like to calm him down first.

She braced herself up by taking a deep breath. Then, she looked at Najeh pathetically, "Najeh, I invited Cyrus over to clarify our relationship only."

She lowered her head with slight disappointment, "I know now I don't like him at all."

Suddenly, she froze at the sight of Najeh's injured hand.

"Najeh! What happened to your hand?"

Najeh lowered his head to hide the suspicion in his eyes and remained silent.

He had got the news that Sophia would like to announce her relationship with Cyrus at her birthday party, and that was why Cyrus had been invited. Out of rage, Najeh had punched on the wall.

Immediately, he came to question Sophia, but got the answer that she didn't like Cyrus at all.

He didn't believe in Sophia completely but softened for her heartfelt sympathy.

Leading Najeh into her bedroom by the hand, Sophia began to disinfect his injuries carefully.

"Najeh, does it hurt?" The soft and sweet voice pleased Najeh.

The hostility around Najeh dissipated considerably, and he shook his head slowly with pursed lips.

Suddenly, he pinched her chin, looked at her innocent and beautiful face, and squinted his leopard-like sharp eyes, "You just said that you didn't like Cyrus?"

"Yes!" Sophia nodded seriously

"Why?" Najeh stared at her intently as if he wanted to find the flaws in her expression .

It was not his fault. Yesterday, Sophia had made a fuss with him for Cyrus and declared to break from him forever. Her overnight changing attitude was weird!

Sophia took a deep breath and looked Najeh directly in his eyeballs. She said word by word, "Because I realize that you mean more than him to me. We grow up together. It is insane for me to break with you for a stranger."

Najeh froze for this unexpected answer.

He narrowed his dark eyes and stared at Sophia deeply.

Instead of backing off, Sophia looked at Najeh with firmness and candor.

Najeh retracted his gaze slowly, and there was something undistinguished in his eyes.

"The party will start in half an hour . I'll wait for you downstairs."

Najeh left, and Sophia let out a sigh of relief.

'Well, a nice move!'

'Luckily, Najeh chose to believe in me, so his manic depression didn't break out.'

So, this was supposed to be the end of this farce.

Now, she needed to focus on how to fix the cracks in their relationship.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Sophia smiled at her reflection confidently.

Then, the door was pushed open from outside, and a vigorous girl barged in.

Unlike Sophia, this girl looked like a tomboy.

The short hair, the suit, the featured face, and the height of 175cm made him look like handsome boy.
