Chapter Five.

"The hell Riku?" I asked turning to face him and surprisingly I saw him with a tissue blowing his nose.

"How did you know that new chick?" He asked.

"Um....what?" I asked.

"We'll kidnap you today finally. We shall make you pay for getting all the fun." Juro said as they all pounced on me. We all laughed as they pretended as if they were about to kill me.

We went back to our various classes after lunch. When I sat on my seat, I saw a letter beneath my languages textbook. I picked it up and read it.

'Hey Raizo, let's go home together today.' It read.

"Hey." Yoshida called as I folded the letter and immediately threw it under my table. She looked suspicious alright.

"Um, hey." I said smiling.

"Well, Miss Nana asked me to get you, she said you should come with me." She said looking away, she looked kinda sad.

"Oh, okay." I said standing from my seat. We walked to the staffroom in silence and it was really disturbing.

"Um... so, what happened between you and the guy from before?" I asked not knowing what else to say.

"Oh, I thought you'd never ask." She said looking relieved.

"Yeah."

"Well, it's kind of something I don't talk about often." She started.

"Well not like I want to bother you or anything..."

"No, it's okay." She said.

"O-kay, cool then." I said.

"Well, I used to act, I mean in the past." She said as my eyes widened.

"Wow!" I said.

"Yeah, I stopped because it was disturbing, I needed to focus on one thing, and I chose my education." She said.

"Didn't you love your acting?" I asked.

"I did." She answered.

"I really hope it wasn't more than the studies issue cause.... you know." I said as she giggled. "What?"

"You really are a weird guy." She said smiling.

"How?" I asked.

"Anyone I tell would normally ask the movies I appeared in or the company I worked for, but you focused on the reason I stopped acting." She said still smiling.

"Yeah, you know, am not others." I said looking away.

We walked into the staffroom and I discussed the club stuffs with Miss Nana. Yoshida looked like she was shocked when I talked about joining the football club.

We walked out of the staffroom and Yoshida kept the sad look she had when she came to get me in class.

*Should I ask why, or am I overstepping my boundaries?*

"Um...how do know Kobayashi?" She asked looking away.

"Huh? Oh, She lives in the apartment next to mine." I said as she looked away. "Um... its not like I know her or anything, we just met yesterday." I explained as she let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh-no, am not happy or anything." She said using her hands to cover her mouth as I laughed. "Don't laugh at me." She said, her face turning red.

"Okay, am sorry." I said.

"I never knew you could play soccer." She said.

"And you are pretty good in Volleyball yourself." I said smiling.

"Th-thanks." She said looking away. "Um.. what type of movies do you like." She asked.

"Where'd that come from?" I asked.

"Um... just wanted to know." She said.

"Okay, I love mystery and romance." I said looking at her as she smiled. "What, do you like them too?" I asked as she nodded.

"So you read manga and stuff?" She asked.

*She acts like she wants to know all about me.... just like....*

"Umm.. yeah, I read manga and play games. Those are the things I do most of the time." I said smiling.

"I heard you could draw too." She said.

"Yeah, I can, just that I draw game characters and anime characters." I said looking away.

*Am not an Otaku okay." I thought.

"That's nice." She said as I looked at her.

*She said that was nice, only my friends think of that as normal, people thought I was weird cause of that.* I thought looking away.

"Are you busy this weekend?" She asked.

"Nah, I'll just stay home and play games." I said.

"So I can borrow you tomorrow." She said smiling making me freeze.

"Huh?"

"Let's go out tomorrow, to watch a movie, or are you busy on Saturdays?" She asked.

"Mizuki Yoshida is asking me out. Nah, she's just trying to pull my heartstrings.* I thought before looking back at her smiling. I hit myself hard on the face.

"Hey... Yamaguchi." She called looking at me.

*It's not a dream, if I don't answer now I'll miss my chances of going out on a date with a real girl.* I thought.

"The pleasure is mine." I said smiling.

"O--kay. Tomorrow, 10pm. I'll meet you at the station beside....." I wasn't listening to what she said afterwards, I was just so glad.

"Okay." I said smiling.

Later after club activities, I waited for Kobayashi.

"Hey Raizo." She called making me come back to reality.

"Hey, what the hell do you think you are doing?" I asked looking serious.

"Now now, don't be so angry. I noticed you were a lonely vir....."

"Hey, cut that out. Am not lonely okay." I said as she grinned. "Let's go." I said as she nodded.

Saturday came, it was rather slow, I wasn't able to sleep cause I was too overjoyed. I already planned on confessing my feelings to her. By 6 I was already in the bath, the third time that morning. I got out after a long bath and put on my clothes. A white long sleeve button shirt inside and a black pullover unto of it, then I wore black sweat pants and a black and a pair of white sneakers. I walked to my bed and slumped on it.

"I think am overthinking things, maybe she just wanted to see a movie so badly and she called me, or the old dude doesn't have time to got to a movie. She will think am a creep, let me just enjoy today and keep the relationshipas it is." I said curling on my bed while pouting.

"Arghhhhhh!" I screamed trying to forget that and be happy.

55 minutes 9 and I was already nervous. I stood by the station waiting for her to arrive. 10 passed, 15 minutes after 10 came and went still no sign of her.

*Dammit, what was I thinking, she wouldn't just make out time for me.* I thought about to walk out.

"Yamaguchi!" I heard someone scream as I turned to face her.

"Yoshi-----da." My mood changed almost immediately.

"Hey man, what are you doing here all dressed?" Riku asked. "And you look like you aren't all that happy to see me." He said.

"Well..." I started but stopped almost immediately when I saw Yoshida running towards me. I looked at the time and it was already 15 after 10.

"Um.... Yama-gauchi." She said panting.

"Oh, Yoshida. You made it." I said smiling.

"Am sorry for making you stand for too long." She said looking up at me.

"No, I just got here." I lied still smiling.

*Jeez, I thought I was dumped.* I thought still smiling.

"Heh? Heh?" Riku asked looking from me to her.

"Oh, I almost forgot you were here." I said smiling at him. "Now just get lost." I said between my teeth to avoid Yoshida from hearing it.

"What's going on here?" He asked.

"What it looks like, we are out on a date." She said smiling.

*Argh!!! She said it's a date. She really looks cute, seems like she dressed for it.*

"Let's get going," she said as I nodded waving at Riku who stood shocked.

Well, the date began and I was just enjoying myself. We went to the movies, went clothe shopping, went to a cat cafe and did other things I never knew existed. Then finally, the park.

"I really had a nice time." She said stretching.

*No, I believe I had the nice day.* I thought as I smiled.

"Don't you go out often?" I asked.

"No, well yeah, but I go for karaoke with the girls most of the time." She said sitting on a bench.

"You don't go on.... dates?" I asked.

"No, this is a first for me." She said.

"Whoah! You can't be serious." I said.

"No, I am. What about you?" She asked.

*Do I look like someone a girl would love to go out with?*

"Nah, I've never had a girlfriend. I spend most of my time with Rio, Juro and Riku." I said looking away.

"That's....somehow, I guess. Why don't you have any?" She asked.

"Well, I can't say am a very likeable person." I said.
