Chapter 5

Ava was waiting outside the operation theater. After some hours doctor came out from OT. Ava went to the doctor.

Ava: How is she doctor?

Doctor: The operation is successful. But we can't say anything until she wakes up.

Ava: Okay doctor.

Ava is sitting outside of Lily's room. She is thinking about her life which was going smoothly, and now it's all ruined. How will be her life with Ryan? Her phone rang taking her out of her thoughts. It is Ryan. She picks up the call.

Ryan: Where are you?

Ava: I am in city hospital

Ryan: You have to go with me to my parents as my girlfriend.

Ava: okay

Ryan: I am coming.

Ryan came there in a few minutes. Ava sits in the car. The whole journey was silent. They get out of the car.

Ryan: Ava smile.

Ava: What!

Ryan: We are going to meet my parents. If you look so pale then they will misunderstand us.

Ava: Okay [smiles]

They went inside. Mr. Johnson was sitting in living room.

Mr. Johnson: Ryan? Why do you come here?[looks at Ava] Who is she?

Ryan: Dad. Mom told me to bring her here.

Mr. Johnson: She is your girlfriend?

Ryan: Yeah she is my girlfriend.

Mr. Johnson: Oh really! [stared at Ava] What is your name child?

Ava: My name is Ava.

Mr. Johnson: Where do you live?

Ava: I lived in Area A.

Mr. Johnson: You lived with your parents.

Ava: No. My parents died in accident. I grew up in orphanage.

Mrs. Johnson came there.

Mrs. Johnson: Who is she Ryan?

Ryan: She is my girlfriend

Mr. Johnson: She is Ava. Her parents died. She grew up in orphanage.

Mrs. Johnson: Ryan How did you meet with Ava?

Ryan: She is my PA in office.

Mrs. Johnson: From when you two started dating?

Ryan: We meet a month ago.

Mrs. Johnson: okay. Ava

Ava: Ye... Yes

Mrs. Johnson: Let's eat something

Ava: Okay

Mrs. Johnson: [smiles] Don't worry. I am very strict for Ryan not for you.

Ava: okay

Mrs. Johnson: You are really beautiful

Ava: Thank you

They went towards the dining table. They started eating.

Mr. Johnson: Ryan are you sure that you love Ava. Because you have to marry her and take care of her.

Ryan: Yes I am sure. I love her.

Mrs. Johnson: Then marry her

Ryan: Don't you think that it's too early

Mrs. Johnson: It's not too early. I like Ava as my daughter-in-law. What do you think Ava?

Ava: I... [looks at Ryan]

Ryan: Okay fine I will marry her.

Mrs. Johnson: Ava you want to marry Ryan?

Ava: Ye... Yes

Mrs. Johnson: That's great

Mr. Johnson: I am very happy for you.

They ate together.

Mrs. Johnson: Ryan I want you to marry this week.

Ryan: It's too early.

Mrs. Johnson: You have to do it. I don't want to hear anything. If you two are serious about your relationship then what is the problem?

Ryan: Okay fine.

Mrs. Johnson: Then I have to prepare many things for marriage.

Ryan: okay. I have to go.

Mrs. Johnson: You have to go to the shop for your wedding dress tomorrow.

Ryan: Okay

Mrs. Johnson: Bye Ava

Ava: Bye aunty

Ryan: Where do you want to go now?

Ava: hospital.

Ryan: Okay

Ryan stopped his car near hospital. She went to the hospital. Ryan was thinking that why Ava is going to the hospital? But he didn't ask anything. Because it's not his concern. He ignored it and went to his office.

At night...

Finally, Lily woke up. She can't talk much. Doctor checked her and told her to sleep. Ava was there whole night.

Next day ...

Ava went to the shop with Ryan. Lily was sleeping. She was trying some dresses. After selecting a dress she went to the office for some work.

She completed her work. She went to Ryan's cabin. She knocked at the door.

Ryan: Come in.

Ava: Sir I completed my work.

Ryan: okay [while looking at his file]

Ava: Sir I can't come these days. I have some work.

Ryan: Yeah. [looks at Ava] You have so much money now. Why would you come to office.

Ava: [in a low voice] I have to go sir.

Ryan: okay. You can go
