YAYYYY! I'm really glad that Amelia is gonna stay with me.

My phone rings. Oh. Call from father. Why is he calling me.

I picked up the call.

"Hello?"

"Eloise." He goes on. "I've something important to tell you."

"Um" I said.

"You are moving to your new mom, I mean your step mom's house."

What. What is he talking about. Step mom? (I was shocked.)

"Dad? What are you saying." My voice trembled.

"Yes, I married a women who live in Seoul, She's Natalie Seo. And That's why we are here." He replied.

" W-Why. Just why. It haven't been a month scince mom left. And you already." I couldn't control anymore.

"Eloise. Calm down. I did that only for you. So that you Don't feel the absence of your mom."

Lies. All lies. I used to miss my mother when she was there. No one cared about me then. Why now?

"Haha. Really? Dad stop lying. My mom is not dead. She is still alive. I can talk to her whenever I want. I don't have to feel my mom's absence, cause she's alive." I stated.

"Child."

"You have NO GUTS"

"SHE HAS NO GUTS." He scowled.

"Huh?"

"She leaved you. Did she even think about you, do you think she will pick your call?"

My mom and dad weren't a happy couple. We were not a 'happy family'. When I was born, my mom and dad, both, wanted to abandon me. But my grandma denied their decision, and bring me up. I lived with my family thinking that one day we will sit on that couch together and spent a happy family time. But nobody had enough time for me. My mom and dad were always busy with their work. Nobody cared about me. My grandma passed away when I was 9. After that, arguments between mom and dad raised. Arguments changed to Violence. My father used to beat my mom. She wasn't also the one who would stay quiet. She also raised her voice. They were still together, in a violent relationship. 8 more years, they were together and Finally got a divorce last month (Still it's not been a month yet). Mom left us with my father. I turned eighteen last week. So I don't need someone's custody anymore. I wanted to live alone (I was already alone though). But my father refused (I've no idea why, cause there's no way that he's concerned about me).And now, He just married another women, telling me to think of her as my own mother. How can I?

"I don't Know." I replied.

"Ha"

"You...said that you married for my sake. Really?"

"Yes childe"

"Hahaha" I chuckled. "You are concerned about me right? Did you even ask me once, that if I do feel the absence of a mother or... I want a step mom? To be honest, NEVER! I never wanted... Okay that's fine. You married for your daughter's sake, thinking that she will need a mom to bring her up. Can you also divorce her for my sake?"

"..."

"No reply? I knew it. These were all Excuses."

"No-", He insisted.

"Then Why? Why did you marry NATALIE SEO? For money? For your desires? Or for personal debt? Just Why?", Tears rolled down from my eyes.

"ENOUGH ELOISE"

"What enough? Tell me. I want to listen the truth."

"I've my own Reasons." He said.
