"Please I need the money!", Aurora said to her boss who stopped walking.

"Aurora everyone got paid last week including you, do you think we have money right now? the company is having money problems. I'm sorry but I can't help", her boss said and walked away leaving Aurora standing on her spot.

"Argggggggggg!", she screamed before panting hard.

"I need a plan", she said and ran out of the company.

Alice walked out of the school walking hastily.

she always goes home early to avoid the students bullying.

She ran past the woods and stopped to look behind when she felt someone was following her and in a minute she arrived in her home, she stays alone.

She immediately dropped her bag and a knock came on her door. She rushed to open and a middle aged woman holding a tiffin and an envelope.

"This is the food I cooked make sure you eat then go collect your pills okay", the middle aged woman said giving her the tiffin.

"This is enough for you to buy what your short of and pay you hospital bill okay", she said and Alice smiled sadly before hugging her fast.

"Thank you", she said and the woman tapped her twice on her back.

"Go eat and don't be late for your appointment", she said and walked out.

Four months ago Alice found out that she has brain cancer and her doctor assured them that it's still in the lower stage and it can still be treated.

Alice ate her food and walked out locking the door and walked her way to the hospital.

Aurora seemed tired she had been walking & looking for money but she can't find none.

She walked to the pie stand.

"Can I have chicken pie and cola please", she said giving the man selling and a voice chuckled behind her.

"Shouldn't the money your eating be the one you use to pay me?", the voice said and Aurora's eyes widened the man from her house.

"So I shouldn't eat because I owe you", she said and the man smirked.

"I have deal for you baby girl, because I can see you can't get me my money", he said and aurora scoffed.

"You think I can't give your money!", Aurora said and the guy walked closer to her.

"If you can't pay me my money, your daddy goes to jail, but I have another offer to give!", he said and Aurora looked at the man before her in hatred.

What makes him think her dad stole his money.

"What offer?", she said and the guys smirked.

He walked to her and held her waist and went closer to her ear.

"Be my secretary!", he dropped the offer.

He moved his face and looked at her in the eye.

She looked at him and that's when she noticed this devil is a demigod!!!

He is so handsome and cute

"Yes....", she said in a whisper still looking at his face.

"Good, now I'll send my guards to pick you up tomorrow nine pm", he said but Aurora wasn't listening to him.

She was watching how his lips were moving and the guy smirked.

"I'm Damon by the way", he said and let go of her waist before entering his car he looked at her and winked before going.

"Ma your food!", the vendor said and Aurora released the breath she was holding all along.
