I slowly opened my eyes feeling weak and found myself surrounded by a group of people.They wore weird masks and robes which were a bit sketchy. I tried to get up but my hands and legs were tied and the same guy who rescued me was present over there.

"Who are you people and why did you bring me here"I asked. As I tried to free myself one of the men spoke." Who are you and how did you get that mark"he said. "You mean the weird mark I have on my back"I answered." Yes that mark you have"A lady from the crowd spoke." I-I don't know"i said.

A guy from the crowd removed his mask and said"This is utter nonsense, there is no way she could be the Eligius. She probably doesn't even know what it means". After what he said everyone else removed their masks too. I was a bit hesitant about what they would do. One lady came up to me and untied me.

They all kept staring at me which made me uncomfortable. That lady first comforted me and made me sit on the nearby couch. I looked at the place, and it was majestic, there was a lot of weird stuff hanging on the walls and normally on the tables. The lady sat down with me and calmly asked me what my name was. I answered that my name was Lucy, and she introduced herself. Her name was Adelina, and she was in charge of bringing me here.I asked what the reason was." Let me tell you a story dear I think then you will understand"Adelina said.

"Long ago when human civilization was not that advanced, the world was full of things you could not imagine. There were many wizards, fairies, sorcerers, mages and during that time there was a powerful mage called Sera Maqfe. She was a legend and an inspiration to everyone. She had a mysterious power which had no boundaries. It may seem like a boon but if used extensively, it was a curse. The power got to her head and she used too much until it was her end. Prophecy states that if a person is born on the rare blue ombre moon, they are bound to have the same fate as Sera. "

Adeline narrating the story left me speechless but what she said next left shivers down my spine. She said"It is also said that the same person will have a phoenix mark."The boy spoke up and said"You still haven't told us how you got it." I looked at him and said that I found a small rock plate with weird writing and that after i touched it I got this mark. But one thing kept bugging me." Can I ask you a question?" I said." Yes what is it"Adeline replied." First, why did I get the mark, second who are you all and third who was that monster from which you just saved me from"I said.

"We will answer everything but first get her ready"Adeline said. I was confused and the 2 small girls who looked identical helped me get up and said to follow them. I quietly followed them not knowing where I was going. Not only that, but I also noticed I was being followed by 3 people which included the boy who saved me a pretty girl and a muscular boy whom I think I had seen in school. They led me in a room and one of the identical girls told me to put on a blindfold. I freaked out and denied it but the girl behind me held me up and sweetly said that don't worry anything is going to happen to you, we are just heading somewhere. I was powerless in front of them and I had no choice but to follow what they were telling me.

I was put on a blindfold, my hands were tied again and I didn't have a single idea of where I was going. After a long time of walking they opened my blindfold, and I was brought to a court and tied to a pole. I saw three old men sitting high on a table, and they looked like the judges and on both sides there were people who were murmuring and on one side Adeline and the other people I saw were there.

"Court has begun"someone shouted from behind and then there was total silence. One person came up and started to tell the three old men who I was. He looked like one of the lawyers, and he said"My lord, as you can see the mages say that they have found the infamous Eligius who is said to be the reincarnation of Sera Mapfe's power and as we know she also will bring the same destruction as Sera brought. There is no doubt that she is bound to bring the same"

I stayed there clueless about what was happening and what will happen to me. I couldn't help but feel scared about what will happen to me. Will I be safe or not.
