Out of The Closet

Brick's POV:

I couldn't sleep, so I got up and put on a shirt. I left the cabin to go sit on a bench or something. That's when I saw Momoko. She was standing a few inches from the bench counting fireflies. I decided to go sit there anyway.

Blossom's POV:

I saw Brick walking up to where I was and I froze. Was he coming to see me? He walked towards me. I waved to him, only for him to turn and sit on the bench not even acknowledging me. I felt so stupid.

"couldn't sleep either" I ask trying to start up conversation

"nope" he says

We only say a few things to each other. He gets up to leave when I grab his arm. 

"Don't leave now! I'll be alone" I beg

"You were fine alone before" he says 

"well I um" I didn't know what to say

That's when he pulls me closer to him and kisses me. It felt like when I was in the closet. I realized it was him. The way he held my waist the exact same way. He kissed like him too. He didn't stop and then I felt myself being lifted. I coil my legs around him. Why do I feel so safe in his arms. I felt like all outside dangerous couldn't touch me. 

He pulled away and unbuttoned my Pj's. I didn't stop him He gave a light kiss to my chest. Then I heard something. It was a singing voice. It was coming from the forest. I turned to brick and he threw me down. I fell hard on the ground. I buttoned my Pj's back up. He walked towards the forest mindlessly. 

I got in front of him and held my arms out.

"We can't go into the forest" I told him "It's not safe"

I gave up as he pushed passed me. I followed him into the forest where he was going. He was walking towards the cliff. I pulled him back as much as possible. He was so strong though, tears streamed down my face as I tried to stop him. I didn't want him to die. Please don't let him die.

"I admit it, he's a dumb meanie but...your my dumb meanie" I said as I kiss him

Instead of pushing me, he wrapped his arms around my waist. He kisses me back and then looks down at me. 

"that was cute" he says smirking

"SHUT UP!" I say as I punch his arm "why were you walking to the cliffs edge" 

"I heard a woman voice singing to me all my troubles will go away...for some reason I felt like I was in love with the woman" he says

The singing starts again and I cover his ears. I mouth to him that something is singing to him and putting him in a trance. He removes my hands and he doesn't walk to the cliff. Could it be my kiss saved him? 

"We need to go down there and see what that thing is" I tell him

"You sure are eager to go down there, you scared whatever's down there is gonna try to take me from you pinkie" he teases me

"NO YOU IDIOT" I yell "I just don't want you- I mean anyone to get hurt"

He smirks and just leaves. I wait there for about 20 minutes and he comes back with a rope. He ties it around a tree and looks at me.

"lets go pinky" he winks at me

I blush and just tie the rope around my waist. We climb down there to see and so far its just rocks. Until we come across a cave at the very bottom. We land on the rocks and take a look. We untie ourselves and walk up to the mouth of the cave. I will admit I was pretty scared. I wanted to go back so badly. 

"Brick maybe we shouldn't-" I was stopped when he brung his lips to mine. I suddenly felt calmer.

"Calm down pinky" he says as he takes my hand and we enter the cave. Was us kissing like a regular thing now?

It's darkness until we see something dart across the cave floor. I jump and hold on to Brick. He puts his arm on me as we step slower into the cave. The moonlight seems nonexistent now. He had brought a flashlight but even the sun wouldn't make me feel safe. I gasp as I see a skeletons of some people. This can't be real...

"Brick-" I say

"I know.." he says focused on the surroundings 

I hear a growl and then a singing voice. It echoes through out the cave. It stops after a couple minutes. The growl becomes deeper and closer. I don't think it likes that Brick wasn't under its control. A woman emerges from the shadows.

She looks at us perplexed as to why we are here.

"Were you the one singing?" I ask hiding behind Brick

The woman shakes her head. 

"Why are you down here?" Brick says impatiently

She points to a crashed small boat, I guess she washed up here and survived.

"How did you survive down here?" I ask suspiciously 

The woman has an ashamed look on her face.

"You ate your dead teammates bodies to survive" Brick says as if he was finishing her thoughts.

She nods.

"I feel so bad for you." I say.

The woman isn't wearing clothes, so Brick takes his jacket off and gives it to her. He says he could see how cold her skin feels from where he was standing. He is such a gentlemen. 

As we walked through the forest with her. She started laughing maniacally. Brick was concerned so he held me behind him. I got that feeling again. The feeling of safe in his arms. 

"You kids really shouldn't trust random strangers in the middle of the woods" She said as she lunged at us.
