Due to the dream, Star woke up in a cold sweat. She could still feel her heart aching and could still see the image of her mom struggling underwater. “Why am I having this same dream again” She sighed and set up in bed. She turned and looked at the clock sitting on the side of her bed, only 15 minutes had passed but it felt like hours. “Since I can’t sleep, I might as well leave early, before they try to drag me down stars.”

Grabbing the hair tie sitting next to her bed, Star headed for the bathroom, stood in front of the mirror and put her shoulder length hair into a messy bun. She reached into the shower, turned on the water and let the water run across the skin on the back of her hand. Once it reached the perfect temperature, she took off the pajamas she was wearing since she woke up in the morning and stepped into the shower.

As the water fell on her skin, it felt as if all her problems were falling from her with each drop of water. She tilted her head back and let the water fall on her like warm rain. “*sigh* I wish I could stay like this forever, so relaxing.”

After getting out of the shower, she dried off and got dressed. Since they decided to meet up at a local hole-in-the-wall restaurant, she was dressed in a plain black T-shirt and a pair of high waisted distressed shorts. She let her hair down and added some curls to the ends of her hair.

Star did some last minute checks in the mirror and held out her hand. In the blink of an eye, a small dot appeared in her hands that looked like a moving galaxy with millions of small stars, she threw the small dot on the floor and a large bluish purple hole with moving stars opened up on her floor. This hole was a device that they create together to be able to meet up with each other as soon as possible when needed. The hole was big enough to fit 6 adult men, but could only transport them within a 500 mile distance (804.672 km).

Star stepped onto the hole and began to sink down as if she was been swallowed by quicksand. Within the next minute, the hole appeared inside a dark alley and Star began to emerge from the hole starting with her head first, as if she was being pushed up by an invisible force.

The place she arrived at is called Hidden Alley. Since she arrived 15 minutes early, she decided to leave special yellow stars on the walls in the alley, letting the others know that she has arrived and that she was waiting at the restaurant. She waved her hand and multiple glowing stars appeared on the walls. These stars could only be seen by the people Star allowed, if anyone else came, they will only see a normal wall and nothing else.

Before leaving the alley, Star took out a long black cloak with the wave of her hand and put it on. The cloak covered her from head to toe. This cloak was made with a special material called Shadow Silk and was a requirement to enter the restaurant. You can bring your own or purchase one from the restaurant. This cloak hides your identity and the only thing that can be seen is an endless darkness. The face, hands and feet are surround by a black fog which prevents anyone from identifying you by any known identifiable marks, tattoos, scars, weight or height.

Star turned down an alley that was about about 3 spaces down from the alley she was in. There was no doors or signs, only a tall muscular man standing against a wall. If you didn’t know about this restaurant, it would be impossible to find it. Star walked up to the man in the alley and stood directly in front of him. This man had a special ability to scan someone just by looking at them. With one scan, he can see any hidden items and register your identity into a secret database that only the restaurant owner could view. The man slowly looked at Star from head to toe, once he raised his eyes, his eye color changed from black to green and a hole appeared inside the wall next to him with big golden words that said Delphic. Star walked into the hole and was greeted with an intoxicating smell of food. Star felt her mouth watering and her stomach growling.

“Welcome valued guest, your room is ready, please follow me” the host warmly said and smiled at Star gently. He lead Star to the 3rd room on the left side. “Will there be anyone joining you today?”

Star nodded her head, “Yes, a total of 4 people. Please set the entry code to YXALAG”.

The host walked over to the room entrance and programmed the keypad. “The code has been set, would you like to order anything while you wait?”

Star rubbed her growling stomach and hesitated, “No thank you, I’ll wait until the others arrive.”

“Feel free to call me if you need anything or when you are ready to order.” The host said and turned to leave the room.

After about 10 minutes, Ruth entered the room, then Tabitha, Kate and Aaron.

“I’m starving, what is everyone getting?” Aaron asked rubbing his stomach.

“I’m getting the reverse seared ribeye, cajun shrimp sauce, potatoes and side salad.” Star drooled as she thought about it.

“I’m getting the butter chicken with naan, it looks so good!” Tabitha said with a smile

“I’m getting the fajita bowl with tortillas on the side” said Kate

“You always get the fajitas when we go out, try something different for a change.” Aaron said looking at Kate.

“That’s because I love fajitas and whenever I go to eat with other people, they never want to go to any of the restaurants that have fajitas and this restaurant has the best ones around.” Kate explained.

“This restaurant has the best of everything around, it’s like they took the top cooks from around the world and put them all here.” Star praised the restaurant still drooling.

“What are you going to order?” Kate asked Aaron

“Hmm, I think I’ll get the Thai basil chicken over rice, let’s call the waiter to get the order started, I’m hungry.” Aaron said

Star pressed the call button and the host’s voice sounded through the speaker. “Hello, how may I help you?”

“We’re ready to order” answered Star

“Great! I’ll send the waiter to your room now. They should arrive in 5 minutes.”

“Thank you.” Star replied.

After 5 minutes there was a knock at the door.

“Come in.”

“Hello, thank you for your patience. My name is Gabe, I’ll be your waiter today. What can I get started for you?”

Everyone said their orders and drinks. Gave left and returned 15 minutes later with carts and trays. He placed all the orders in front of the correct person and left the room.
