Chapter 2: Vincent and Isabella's Contract of Redemption

In a dimly lit bar, Vincent, a man feeling really sad because he lost all his money and business, sat there with a glass of whiskey, thinking about how everything went wrong. At that time, he hears a familiar voice and goes to the front door of a room where he witnesses everything secretly. He hears his fiancee having fun with his rival group, and both of them were the reason for his bankruptcy, and they betrayed him.

Feeling angry and upset, Vincent remembered a card Isabella Rossi, a lady with strength and a mysterious past, gave him. The card had an address on it. Curious and wanting to change his situation, he decided to go there.

As Vincent stepped into the address, he encountered an unexpected sight. The formidable Lady Boss, Isabella, was immersed in play with a lively little girl named Emily, around 5 years old.

"Mommy, look what I found!" exclaimed Emily, her eyes sparkling as she held up a tiny treasure.

Isabella, momentarily shedding her tough exterior, smiled affectionately. "Oh, what have you got there, sweetheart?"

A rare sight unfolded before him—the first time he witnessed Isabella's stern demeanor softened by a genuine smile.

Astonished, Vincent found himself silently admiring the scene unfolding before him. Wide-eyed with enthusiasm, Emily noticed Vincent's presence and gleefully informed her mother, "Mommy, that man over there is watching us play!".

After noticing Vincent, Isabella turned tough again. She requested the nanny to take Emily inside for some playtime. Emily, with a hint of sadness, teared up. Sensing her daughter's distress, Isabella comforted her, saying, "Don't worry, sweetheart. Mommy will join you soon for more play. Have fun with Nanny for now."

After comforting her daughter, Isabella approached Vincent.

Vincent, confused, asked, "Who is the kid?"

Isabella, showing a bit of vulnerability, admitted, "She's my daughter."

Curious, Vincent asked, "Are you married? Where's your husband?"

Isabella, staying calm, replied, "That's my private matter. Let's focus on our business. Do you agree with my business proposal?"

Vincent agreed, but he proposed a contract.

He would help Isabella with her business, but he had some conditions. He wanted revenge and to be the CEO. Isabella had her own conditions—no illegal stuff and no violence. She also warned about family hierarchy issues, cautioning Vincent about the delicate balance. "Vincent, understand the loyalty here. Upsetting things can bring trouble. Prove you can navigate this, and we'll talk funds for your business."

Vincent, serious, nodded. "I get it. I'll show I can lead."

In the contract, Vincent added, "If your business does well, you promise to help me. Set aside money to help bring my business back." Isabella agrees to this demand.

After some discussion, they signed a contract. Vincent left, feeling determined and hopeful. Even though he was sad about losing everything, this new partnership with Isabella, a woman of depth and strength, gave him a chance to change things and feel better.
