Due to the left open door, a glistening stream of light brightened the room, as her whining resonated against the high walls.
The man with rough and muscular hands, had her at his mercy, as a mix of fear and disgust filled his head. He couldn't bring himself to kill her, as hadn't dared to kill the best product they were about to sell.

Amidst his hesitation, a woman gave a tough shot on his forearm with a rod.
His grip loosened by her neck, at the shot, and he screamed. But he already had his control over her by firmly clasping his other hand on her.
However, it's not a big deal to get a hold of two weak women by a full-grown man. He was held captive as they struggled to break free from his clutches.
"Cough... Cough..." Getting a breather, she tried to dig her teeth into his arm around her neck.
No matter what, bites are painful. Helplessly, he let go of her and whined. Taking this a correct moment, she hit him, wherever she could. The other woman who helped her to grab a breath played along with her.
As the other kept busy the man, she grabbed the rod and banged on his head till he collapsed to the ground.
"Thank you!" She replied to the woman who helped her.
"It's my pleasure!" The woman said to her. With an unknown happiness in her voice about going to be set free.
"Now what is the next step?" The woman asked eagerly.
"Don't know!" She said analyzing the surroundings, taking a peek through the little light.
"Do you have any idea about this place?" She asked the woman.
Not long before the woman could respond to her, the victims who were held captive, poured in some courage and cried out.
" Take me with you! "
" Take me with you! "

Yet the rustling of chains to their feet, echoed at once as they tried to move.
All of them started to cry. Everybody crowded around them with pain-filled eyes as they were all tortured continuously and under the influence of drugs.
Looking at the mind-boggling sight, she stayed thinking about what to do. The door is open, yet a fear of getting caught by the remaining people outside the door bubbled in their veins.
Meanwhile, the footsteps of many people were heard rushing towards them.
All the women around them crouched to the floor, hearing unknown alerts, approached them.
'What is happening? It is like marching of army crew. Ah! So, finally, we are at the rescue?' She thought and waited sitting on the floor as the drug kicked in. Before she could ensure they were fine, she fainted.
The people inside couldn't contain the excruciating pain they put up with this long. Now a sudden blow hit them, What if the people who brought us here come in and increase the torture because of this ruckus?

[On the other side]
In the chilling darkness of the abandoned warehouse, the faint echoes of distant footsteps reverberated against the cracked walls.
State police officers, hearts pounding with a mix of adrenaline and determination, cautiously navigated through the maze of corridors.
Their mission: is to liberate the captives ensnared by the chains of human trafficking.
As they advanced, beams from flashlights danced across the grimy floors, revealing the haunting evidence of captivity—rusty cages, discarded clothing, and faint whispers that lingered like ghosts in the stale air. With each step, their resolve strengthened, fueled by the urgency to bring justice to those imprisoned against their will.
They slowly pushed the doors open.
A sudden shudder of metal against metal reverberated, and the officers froze. Anticipation hung heavy in the air as they swiftly exchanged silent gestures, a synchronized language borne of countless operations. With a unified nod, they breached the door to a dimly lit chamber.
Within the suffocating confines of the room, shadows clung to the walls, concealing the faces of the enslaved. The officers’ trained eyes quickly scanned the scene, meticulously assessing the situation while their hearts ached at the sight before them. Their training kicked in, each officer moving with precision and purpose.
"State police! You're safe now! We're here to help," one officer called out, their voice cutting through the stifling silence.
Fear mingled with hope flickered in the eyes of those who had known only captivity for far too long. Slowly, hesitantly, they began to emerge from the darkness, tentative steps towards an uncertain freedom.
The officers swiftly worked to unshackle chains and offer reassurance, their faces etched with determination to bring every soul out of this living nightmare. Each rescued individual was enveloped in blankets of warmth, a stark contrast to the cold grip of captivity they had endured.
Outside, the night air tasted different—a mix of liberation and lingering shadows of the ordeal. Sirens pierced through the stillness, a symphony of rescue and retribution as additional units secured the perimeter, ensuring that no perpetrator could escape the long arm of the law.
As dawn's first light began to peek over the horizon, the warehouse stood as a mere shell of its former malevolence. The state police officers, exhausted but resolute, watched as the survivors were led to safety, a glimmer of hope rekindled in their eyes.
In the aftermath, amidst the bureaucracy of paperwork and legal proceedings, there remained an unspoken bond among those who had fought side by side in the pursuit of justice. For in that warehouse, amidst the harrowing rescue, they had not only saved lives but also reclaimed pieces of humanity stolen by the vile clutches of human trafficking.

[In the police headquarters]
"So, there are a few men and a woman on their side who were found injured among the captive women?" The man in his complete uniform was surprised to hear the report.
Richard Hobson, who came to this city intending to eradicate human trafficking, was amazed by the sudden turn of events. He had been taking these types of cases and solving them, but he never came through something like this.
"Yes, Mr. Hobson." The subordinate said.
"Sounds complicated. Update me about this, time to time." He said.
