100 Years later.

Under the starry sky, the last battle between the heavenly armies and the hordes of demons is settled with the evil's defeat.This battle takes place in the human world and the demon emperor is sealed in the "Sea of black void",while the few remaining demons run away and hide in hard to access locations so that their pursuers can't reach them too soon.

The three realms ( Heavenly, Human and Netherworld) return to normal and the peace falls upon them for a long time. After this calamity passes, the heavenly armies return to the Heavenly realm and go back to their usual routine. Feng Lu Xin manages to rank up and obtains his own mountain as reward for his merits in the war against the demons.

This mountain is located right near "Taohua" and guards the "Heavenly Gates" of the immortals, thus his new appointment is to guard the gates.

It is rumoured that "Taohua" is a place through which you can access the Heavenly realm, that's why the gates must be guarded against uninvited visitors. The young immortal takes his duty seriously and guards the heavenly gates day after day that it becomes something known throughout the realm and all the immortals know him as "Feng Lu Xin, the guardian of the Heavenly Gates..."

One day, while guardian the entrance, he becomes very hungry that almost faints and has nothing to eat upon himself, but suddenly he finds a silk sacket thrown somewhere in a small pocket of the coat. When he opens it, he sees a red glowing cherry inside and eats it without thinking from where he has it. His whole body then starts to emit a golden aura and he enters a state of cultivation succeeding to ascend a higher level.

In that moment, somewhere in a different place of the Heavenly realm, more precisely on the "Mount of Red Threads", in the "Book of marriage ", two new characters appear and a new chapter is opened. The "Red Thread" Immortal, Lao Bai, notices this sudden change of fate and hurries to check the "marriage trees" from the back cliff.

He reaches the garden on the top of his dominion and checks every red thread from all the branches of the trees. Lao Bai, impatiently makes circles around the last tree until he finally reaches a glowing red thread on the top of it. He checks that wire many times and confirms that is a red thread from their "Marriage mansion" but who could have tied it on this tree remains a mystery in the old man's white head because this tree isn't like the others and no one else besides him can do it.

"Wait a minute! Something's wrong here! I never tied this thread but these characters just appeared in the "Book of marriage"! Can it be tied by fate? This thing never happened and it may bring a calamity upon the three realms. What should I do, should I inform the heavenly emperor or not? Who the hell tied such a thick knot?"

The small old man walks through the garden forward and back, brushing his white beard ( that is tied at the top with a red ribbon) with his right hand. His white and red attire is blown by the wind while he walks around and he looks like a lovely ghost wandering on the earth.

"Will the heavenly emperor blame me for my carelessness and punish me? No way!!! I'm too old to bear a punishment at my age!!! The heavy thunderstorm will kill me! Well, maybe not kill me but it will definitely frie me! What to do? What to do? Why is this happening?"

He circles the garden for a while until a small white rabbit appears and speaks: "Shifu, shifu, what's wrong? Why did you suddenly run in the garden? (The little creature notices the special red thread hanging in the tree behind his master.) Ohhh! We have a new happy marriage! Yayyyyy!"

"Happy? Maybe in your dreams boy! This may actually bring destruction upon our world! It's a cursed destiny! Cursed!", complains Lao Bai.

"It is eally cursed? Maybe you are exaggerating, shifu! Let's wait and see what happens! It may not be something bad in the end!",...comforts him the adorable apprentice.

"You're right little Ti-Ao! It may not be something bad!"

After seeing that the Red Thread Immortal calms down, the little rabbit fairy Ti-Ao transforms into a smiling young boy dressed in white clothes.

"Ti-Ao, you forgot to hide your ears!, tells him the old man."

"Sorry, shifu!!! I always forget that they're a part of me when I transform my body! I'll be more careful next time!"

"Let's check out who the two lovers are!", says Lao Bai to his little fairy.

They both exit the cliff and descend toward the mansion where many fairies of different ages are doing their daily chores.

"Greetings Red Thread Immortal! Greetings Red Thread Immortal!",everyone greets Lao Bai while they pass by him and he replies with a warm smile and silent laughter to all of them.

The old man and the boy enter the mansion and walk forward until they reach a library where many books and scrolls are displayed on the shelves or floating in the air.

The boy reads loudly the title of one of them: "The book of marriage"!

Lao Bai opens it and starts scrolling through it until he finds the new chapter and reads loudly the only phrase that's on it: "Feng Lu Xin appears in front of Ying Hua and the love thread is tied by fate....."

"This is it!, exclaims the Red Thread Immortal. Go immediately and find Feng Lu Xin!"

"Yes, shifu!", replies the the little fairy!
