Hi, I'm Karl. 25 years old and many people are simply asking me everywhere. 'Are you gay?' and really, I don't know.
I have a sister and her name is Khan. She's 20 years old and still living with me. I provide her needs because our parents is now resting.
We just got into a new Villa. The name is pretty interesting.
“What's our house number again, Khan?” I asked my sis. “House… 178?” she replied with a smile.
“This is a long walk, this is house 23!” I said with a sigh.
“It's fun to walk! You should memorize our path since this is a pretty big Villa, you know.” my sister. She is the most precious thing to me right now. She is always positive with things and really, that makes me happy.
“Yeah, your probably right.” I replied with a smile, and she gave a chuckle in return.
We walked for 45 minutes while chatting with each other. “Care to help? These bags are so damn heavy.” I said to my sister.
She laughed and said “That's house 178!” and run to the front door.
“HEY!” I shouted.
She opened the door and finally.
-FAST FORWARD-
The interior is finally set.
“That's exhausting!” my sister blurted out. “What do you mean?! You didn't even help!” I said to her with a laugh, she gave a laugh in return too.
“I just noticed. People here are oddly quiet, and I HOPE it stays that way. I like it peaceful” my sister added.
She's right, it's so quiet, not the last neighbor we lived in. There's so much chaos there, part of the reason why we left.
“Your right. We can finally sleep.” I replied.
I walk up to the couch and sat down.
“I'm so tired.” I said before sleeping off.
-KHAN'S POV-
Looks like brother is exhausted. Maybe I can cook something before I rest,
I went to the kitchen and took out some noodles and cook them.
I'm a pretty good cook. - I thought to myself and chuckled.
I went outside for some air after eating. So quiet and peaceful.
*BANG* (JUST PRETEND ITS A GUNSHOT)
“What the f-ck was that?!” I panicly said to myself. I rush inside and locked the door.
I looked over to my brother to see that it didn't bother his ***.
I went to a room I wanted and decided to sleep off.
Weird, quiet, not so called “peaceful” villa.
That is… So weird. I said to myself before sleeping off. I just hope it isn't dangerous here.
-KARL'S POV-
I had a great nap, I smell noodles? Khan probably cooked them. I stretched and checked my phone. It's 4 AM already?
Maybe a run would do, I just hope there's a store near here.
I showered and changed clothes. Then went out for a run.
-FAST FORWARD-
I haven't found a single store. I wandered off so far I don't even know where I am right now. I should've brought my phone with me.
Oh, damn. Another person. A mischievous guy? I guess. Maybe I could ask him for directions.
I followed him through the street. “H-hey-” I couldn't even finish my sentence before getting a smack from the back.
-FAST FORWARD-
I opened my eyes, it was dark, very dark.
My head hurts, probably from the hit I got earlier. I feel an eye, a presence around. I just don't see them.
“Who are you?” someone asked in a deep, growl voice. I couldn't see the face very well.
“I asked you a question.” he said again when I didn't answer.
“I-im… Karl.” I blurted out, instantly regretting, but what's the worse that could happen?
“Hmm… You're the new neighbor” he whispered with a raspy voice though I can still hear him.
I nodded not knowing if he can see me too with the dark surroundings.
The lights opened, and I can see a very tall guy, with dark eyes and black soft hair.
“I'm Matthew. The head neighbor at this town. Sorry for the introduction.” he said offering his hand.
I took his hand and stood up, brushing my clothes off the dust. “It's okay.” I replied.
“Why did you follow a stranger at a random street?” he asked circling me. Like he was interested. Well of course.
“I was lost” I answered, I can see him smile like he doesn't believe me at all.
“What's your street and house number?” he asked once again.
I was getting bothered, why would he ask that?
“Cherry St., house number is 178.” I answered.
His smile vanished. Did I say something wrong?
“How the f-ck did you end up at Kenney Street? That's like 200 houses away.” he replied.
“I don't know” I replied wandering my eyes at the house with pretty interior.
“You need a ride home?” he asked.
“Well, probably… I'm new around here.” I replied.
“Okay. Jim. Take him to the house 178.” he said.
Jim? Who's Jim?
“Okay bud. Let's go.” a guy randomly appeared. I guess he's Jim.
I followed him out of the room and out of the fr-king mansion... There's a mansion at the Dark Villa?!
“I guess your really new here, you don't know Matthew?” he randomly asked.
“I am new and no, I don't” I replied while wandering my eyes.
“Get in” he said opening the door for me.
I entered the car. It was a nice car.
“Your lucky you didn't get at Matthew's nerves. He kinda looks like he's interested at you.” he blurted out of nowhere.
That's weird to say but okay.
I have a weird feeling about him too but let's just ignore it.
It took at least an hour for me and Jim to get to my house, and I am so exhausted. I think I'm gonna rest for a bit. That's my house! And my sister waiting for me.
“Sorry for the smack earlier.” Jim said before I got off.
-IN THE HOUSE-
“Where the f-ck were you?! YOU GOT ME SO WORRIED! I COULD'VE CALLED THE COPS!” my sister said, worried. She checked every bit of me.
“I'm fine, I just got lost and so many things happened.” I replied. “I'm so damn hungry.” I added.
My sister sighed.
“I hate you.” she whispered in a voice I could hear.
“Sorry.” I said and hugged her.
