Chapter 1: "Years together".

"The journey together with that hateful Su Jianci starts from that day and continues forever."

The child beautifully grows and turns into a sixteen years old teenager who likes to play tricks on her senior roommate. She once hides a huge dead rat under his bed and when the rodent starts to turn into a rotten corpse, Jianci can no longer sleep become of the terrible smell and irritated looks under the bed where he discovers this corpse. He doesn't have to think too much about how the rat got there, because the figure of his junior sister suddenly appears in his mind. It wasn't the first time she did a bad prank on him. Another time when he was bathing in the thermal springs to heal his injuries suffered in a dangerous mission, not only that she stole all his clothes leaving him with nothing to wear when he gets out of the water but she also added a strange violent coloured powder that caused him rashes all over the body. She made the powder from the petals of a poisonous plant and the teeth of a small creature similar to a rabbit. Spending her entire childhood next to a genius alchemist, also transforms her into an expert in this field. Su Qin actually does something serious and awful that day and is severely punished by their master and forced to take care of her senior brother until he recovers. Even though he was the one who took care of her and supervised her growth since the very first day she arrived at Mt Tai Shan, Su Qin was always a little vindictive toward him because of what happened in the past and she never showed him a sign of gratitude on her face. He and his master believe that her disrespectful and rebellious behaviour is due to the young age and immature mind but no one really knows what is actually inside that girl's brain and what ill intentions she harbours. Actually she doesn't hate him that much because after causing him to be immobilized in bed because of her mysterious powder, she realizes that she does not want to see him badly hurt ever again and the girl really feels guilty about what she did. Her heart aches looking at him lying sick in bed and many strange feelings go through her head but she can't distinguish between them, so when she is like that this girl can only run out of the house to cool her head.

"What's wrong with me this time? Everytime I get close to Jianci, my eyes start to spin in their orbits, my heart starts beating like crazy, my legs are numb and I suddenly feel dizzy! This wasn't happening six years ago but now I feel so strange and I cannot control myself at all. I accompanied him all this time and he took good care of me like a real big brother until now but I still haven't forgotten that moment when his arrow pierced my chest and every drop of blood dripped down on the ground through that tiny hole inside of me.

He doesn't know who I really am, doesn't even remember that thing from his past and this is why he can not understand why I am doing all these awful things to him. Why I dislike him when he only protects me but what can I do if that image keeps coming back in my mind and tortures me every day? I can only think about how to punish him and make him regret what he did to me. This is the only way. I had a period when I wanted to openly speak with him about that day from the past, to ask him if he ever killed a good person before but I never had the courage to speak out loudly. If I would have done that, maybe this conflict with my own self would have been solved by now, maybe what happened that day was actually just my misunderstanding. I don't know why I can't hate him that much right now but I also can't stop humiliating him with any occasion I have. I probably look like a bad person in his eyes. We keep living in the same place, eating at the same table, tagging along all day but I continue to be naughty and create problems for him. He is used with me being like this everyday and arguing with him all the time. "Good siblings always fight ", he says! I wish I can put an end to the conflict inside my heart and start to cherish his kindness more. He is not a bad guy after all! These years spent together showed me his real face and that he is not someone who doesn't cherish the lives of the others. Maybe is time to forgive him and forget about our past! I also want to be fully happy and enjoy this precious life. You don't have a second chance everyday. I giggled for him all the time as a baby only thinking at the day when I grow up and get revenge on this guy who ruined my life but now I want to sincerely smile back to my senior brother."

The time passes and Su Qin rarely mistreats Su Jianci, so their relationship highly improves. As a senior disciple, he is oftenly leaving the mountain to accomplish different missions set by his master and returns after days or months of absence. The junior obediently awaits his return with great hopes that he will bring her new souvenirs every time. She is visibly annoyed that she cannot accompany the senior disciples on their missions, but she cannot violate the rules of the sect and disobey her master.

On Mt Tai Shan, a disciple can receive missions after the graduation ceremony that takes place when a boy or girl turns eighteen years old. Currently, Su Qin is sixteen years old and she must wait for another two years to pass until she can go out with her senior brother.The wait is hard to bear!
