“Hey gorgeous,” I say to the beauty next to me

She is roughly five feet tall and that’s quite tall, with brunette hair and quite the body

Not too big and not too small with curves in all the right places. And man, were my hands itching to touch them

She looks around as if wondering whom am talking to! Don’t she know she is the one? Or does she think am talking to the blond bimbo I brought back from the bar last night, can’t even remember her name

“I said, hey gorgeous,” I repeat myself a bit louder and more directly to her than before.

“Excuse me, are you talking to me,” she asks

“Duhhhhh, who else?” I answer while dramatically waving my hands around to prove that we were in the house alone and I most definitely meant her.

“Hello, jerk,” she answers in a sassy tone

I like sassy, I just found that out now though, maybe it’s cause it’s coming from her.

Rewind back a bit, did she just call me a jerk!!!! She is clearly playing dumb, who in their right senses doesn’t know me in this country!

“You’re just playing hard to get right?” I ask her with a smirk on my face.

“Excuse me, but am i supposed to know you??” She questions with a clearly puzzled and confused look on her face.

Wait!!! So she really didn’t know me!!!! What the….. that hurts my pride abit though I won’t admit it to her

And I kind of feel relieved, it means she is being her true self around me! It’s a very refreshing feeling I must say.

Ok, I stretch out my hands to her

“Hello I am Lochlan Blake, from this country and am the lead singer in the Blate group,” I sincerely smile this time

“So your the new guy my brother is super obsessed with??” She asks

And then continued in her soft voice, “my brother is a huge fan, listens to your music all the time”

Sorry,” she apologizes, greets me and says,” hi, am Xenna McDummery from this country, am gonna be a student in the arts department in Rains college! Nice meeting you though we meet in a bad note, also sorry for spraying earlier on it was meant to be for defense!”

It’s all cool, so are we cool? “ I ask! Really hoping we are cool cause I am starting to like her! And so with fingers crossed I ask, “can we be friends?”

Oh no, don’t even think about it,” she answers in that sassy tone that am growing to like

,she goes on to say” just coz I gave you my name and what am gonna study does not mean anything at all, just so you know I hate dudes who are rude to ladies so I hate your guts!”

What!!, am an artist girls are dying to be beside and she just said no to an offer of friendship I brought up? What the hello is wrong with this lady!!

“Just because you are a lead singer in a world known group doesn’t mean you are to be liked by everyone!” She says as though she can read my mind!

This is most definitely a first for me since I became an artist! No girl has ever rejected me so plainly, most of them intact all of them seem to be throwing themselves at me and man is it annoying.

This being a first plain rejection, I most definitely as starting to like this girl, wait cross that out! I definitely liked this girl!!

And that’s a lot coming from me, an pretty self centered if I can say so myself!!

She sashays away, to carry her luggage from beside the door wats am guessing!

Just as she bends to get her luggage where she has dropped them, we hear a knock on the door.

Knock knock, she jumps in fright, her face turning pale in the process,

“Relax, it’s just a knock on the front door,” I tell her in what I assume as my best soothing voice!

I think it comes out funny or annoying coz she smiles then puts on an angry face,

“I knew that,” she answers!

I raise my hands up and head to the door to pop pen why remarking, “then why’d you jump in fright if that’s the case, it’s like you’d seen a ghost,”

I open the door to reveal a bald short man with a protruding belly!!

Sorta reminds me of those men in movies who like swindling people of their stuff to make cheap money!

“Hello am Mr Missle,” and that alone earns a snicker from me. And her downs seem fazed one bit, seems he is quite used to that reaction.

Xenna comes up, with a smile and welcomes him in and stays explaining our predicament after learning he is from the agency that got us the house.
