Murong Qing gave Luo Mingze an annoyed look. "What is it?" asked Jiang Xue who brought the last bowl of rice. "It doesn't matter." Murong Qing said then looked at Jiang Xue.

"Sister-in-law, why do you have to marry this man? There are so many handsome men in the capital. You could have chosen a better one." Murong Qing said seriously. Jiang Xue smiled. Luo Mingze sighed. 'Childish' Luo Mingze thought.

"What did he do to upset you?" Jiang Xue asked. “He…” Murong Qing trailed off. "Forget it." Murong Qing said sighing. The main rule is, don't tell what happened that day.

Murong Qing then took the bowl of rice and ate with gusto but his tears flowed. Jiang Xue was shocked to death. "You're okay, aren't you?" Jiang Xue asked worriedly. Luo Mingze looked at Murong Qing silently.

"I am alright." Murong Qing said putting down his bowl and wiping his tears. "Your food is too delicious." Murong Qing added. "Would you like another bowl?" Jiang Xue asked sadly. Murong Qing nodded cheerfully. Jiang Xue took Murong Qing's bowl and went to get him another bowl of rice.

"Do you remember your mother?" Luo Mingze asked suddenly. "Ehn" Murong Qing muttered briefly. Murong Qing remembers that his mother always cooked him delicious food in his past life until she was killed by his father's enemy. But over time his heart grew cold because his father changed after his mother died.

He hadn't felt this kind of feeling for so long that he probably forgot. Although Luo Mingze meant something different, it was basically the same so there was no problem answering Luo Mingze.

The lunch took place peacefully. Murong Qing said goodbye to the two of them and returned to his residence in front of the house. The next day, he reported to the Ministry of Justice and met Lan Feiyu, who had now been promoted to Minister.

"Stupid people." Murong Qing said with a grin. "Prince, why do you talk like that?" Fan Yuxuan asked confusedly. Murong Qing looked at Fan Yuxuan and then at Luo Zixin. "Do you like him because he's innocent?" Murong Qing asked Luo Zixin. Both of their faces turned red.

Murong Qing laughed. "Don't make me the butt of jokes." Fan Yuxuan said disapprovingly. "Yuxuan, His Majesty the Emperor believes in his sons and daughters. Do you think he will make Luo Mingze a prince with the title of Lord Hua?" Murong Qing asked.

"Maybe as a thank you because Lord Hua has supported you a lot even though you were exiled." Fan Yuxuan said. "Then he could give him a position in the government instead of making himself prince. Father wants to give his position to Lord Hua." Murong Qing said calmly.

"Why not give it to the prince? You are his son after all?" Fan Yuxuan asked confusedly. "I told him, consider me dead. These words also meant that I didn't want the position of Emperor. His previous son was already dead. He understood what I meant and appointed Luo Mingze." Murong Qing replied.

"Don't you have any ideas?" Luo Zixin asked. "Your master asked or did you ask?" Murong Qing asked back. Luo Zixin fell silent. "Come out, no need to hide." Murong Qing said.

Luo Mingze went inside. "You two go out." Murong Qing said. Luo Zixin and Fan Yuxuan complied and left. "Sit down." Murong Qing said casually. Luo Mingze sat there.

"The position is yours. Why wouldn't you want it?" Luo Mingze asked to the point. "When I was 8 years old, I was thrown out of the palace. Now 10 years have passed. I don't want anything but the people who made my mother die and made me an orphan. I won't let them go. I came back here for revenge." Murong Qing answered honestly.

"You've changed so much." Luo Mingze said flatly. "Everyone changes. You change too. Your body wasn't as good as it is now. Your previous body was full of bones. You also married a wife who was good to you." Murong Qing said smiling. Luo Mingze smiled too.

For the next week, Murong Qing was too busy to never return to his residence. Lan Feiyu intended to turn Murong Qing into the most diligent worker available and handed him a pile of tasks. Before he provides a conclusion on each case, he cannot go home.

When he returned his face was very wrinkled. He met Jiang Xue in front of his house. "Sister-in-law, have you just come back from shopping?" Murong Qing asked. "Yeah, did you just come home?" Jiang Xue asked worriedly. Murong Qing nodded.

"Minister Lan, not letting me rest at all." Murong Qing said smiling. "Perhaps, he liked you so he gave you a lot of tasks so that you would be respected by your subordinates." Jiang Xue said smiling.

'I don't need love if it means it tortures me.' Murong Qing thought. "If you don't have anything to do, come over for lunch this afternoon. Mingze is at home today." Jiang Xue explained. "Yes, I will come." Murong Qing said excitedly.

Jiang Xue smiled gently. "Sister-in-law, I'll go in first." Murong Qing said cheerfully and then stepped into his residence. But his joy stopped suddenly because he felt a body fall on his back.

When turning around, Murong Qing's eyes widened. "Sister-in-law." Murong Qing shouted in panic. Fan Yuxuan and Luo Zixin came out as did Luo Mingze who was going to look for his wife.

Jiang Xue's body slumped. Murong Qing catch her. "What's wrong? Why become like this?" Luo Mingze asked, shocked to see an arrow stuck in his wife's chest.

The road became panicked. Everyone is running around. "Fan Yuxuan, immediately call a physician. Luo Mingze takes your wife inside. Luo Zixin comes with me." Murong Qing ordered.

Murong Qing and Luo Zixin left there. Fan Yuxuan was already looking for a physician while Luo Mingze brought his wife into Murong Qing's residence.

Luo Mingze broke the arrow in half and took Jiang Xue to an empty room. "Hang in there, the physician will be here any minute." Luo Mingze said soothingly.

"I can see that Qing er is very angry. Whatever happens you have to stop him from doing things he shouldn't do. I also need you to remain cool-headed in facing all problems. Promise me." Jiang Xue said.

"I promise you. You take it easy. You'll be fine. Hang in there." Luo Mingze said holding Jiang Xue's hand tightly. The physician came with Fan Yuxuan. The physician threw Luo Mingze and Fan Yuxuan out.

Murong Qing returned with the villain. "What about sister-in-law?" Murong Qing asked Fan Yuxuan. Murong Qing didn't see Luo Mingze so he asked.

Fan Yuxuan shook his head. Murong Qing entered the room with the door open. Murong Qing could see Luo Mingze crying while holding Jiang Xue's hand.

Murong Qing's tears flowed uncontrollably.

"YOU BASTARD! IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU THEN YOUR MOTHER WOULDN'T HAVE DIED! YOU CAUSED YOUR MOTHER TO DIE! YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN! YOU BREAKER OF SHIT! YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED NOT YOUR MOTHER!" Qingyuan's father shouted angrily and hit and kicked little Qingyuan's body.

Little Qingyuan could only cry in pain without being able to fight back. But at that time he swore he would make everyone pay for the pain that day.

Murong Qing walked out in great anger. Murong Qing hit the villain's face hard. "Prince, stop! You can kill him." Luo Zixin said holding Murong Qing's body.

"Calm yourself. If you kill him then the wish of the person who sent him will be fulfilled. Look at your attitude now. If A Xue sees you now then she will be disappointed." Luo Mingze said angrily.

"Let me go! I won't kill him." Murong Qing said calmly. Despite their doubts, Fan Yuxuan and Luo Zixin finally let Murong Qing go. "Send him to the Ministry of Justice." Murong Qing said before leaving.

Luo Zixin grabbed the criminal and took him away. "Let me help you. The Prince won't be out for a while." Fan Yuxuan explained. Luo Mingze sighed and nodded.
