Episode 3: My Luna, where are you?

When he got out he turned on the phone and held it to his ear before saying hello, "Where are you da?", the growl of the person on the other end shook his ears. Leo squeezed his eyes shut and shifted the phone to his other ear with a sigh.

The person on the other end did not seem to have stopped his heavy lashes. Leo listened to his lashings in silence as his ears began to ache, but his friend on the other end didn't seem to have abated.

"Don't you stop? My ears are about to explode. Since when did you start whining like an old woman?", Leo teased him. The person at the opposite end is Leo's best friend. Theirs was a friendship that grew out of their schooling together from Alpha's Training High School to Unity of Seventh Academy. Leo, Inias and Jose have been close friends since high school. Although one was far from the other, their friendship was close.

"Do you still have the guts to talk to me?", Jose growled. "Just apologize bro," laughed Inias from behind. "My mate was in pain. What's there to apologize for?" "Look at his arrogance," Jose snapped back. Inias was laughing and enjoying their childish fight. Fighting like this is their favorite pastime.

"I told you he would leave us for his wife, didn't I," Jose fumed.

Knowing what he was doing, Leo said, "Oh, I forgot you were celibate," and laughed.

"Our time will come, my friend," Inias murmured.

Although it is inaudible to human ears, it is clearly audible to Lycans like them. Leo smiled at hearing that.

"Wait!", Leo realized something in the background noise.

"Are you in a car?"

"What else do you expect? Wait for our dear majesty!", Jose refuted.

"You hailed a taxi!", Leo exclaimed in surprise.

"Bought a jeep bro", Inias beamed with pride.

"As expected of you", Leo heaved a sigh.

"So see you at my pack then".

"Sure", Jose hung up the phone.

Though his eyes are on the road his thoughts were on his mate. Jose was the Alpha of the Forest Moon Pack, one of the oldest and strongest Packs. Whereas Inias is his Beta, the second in command. Both moving towards their thirties haven't found their mate yet. They both visited almost every pack in Tamilnadu but still couldn't find her. There are few small packs and new packs formed recently which they haven't visited yet.

Both have their hopes on these packs. If they couldn't find her in these packs then finding her will be like searching for a needle in a haystack. But he was determined to find her no matter what.

Though many suggested for a chosen mate he was too stubborn to wait for her. Only a fated mate can complete you rather than a chosen which every Lycan is aware of.

"My dear Luna, Where are you?", he signed and drove his car towards Leo's Silver moon pack.

Inias who was unaware of Jose's thought sank into the playlist of songs through his headphones.
