Jai expressed his gratitude, saying, "Maya, thank you for your willingness to assist us. Since no one is here, it's best for us to leave this place."
Maya took a seat on the marble floor, while the others stood at a distance. She inquired, "Uncle Jess, do you think he's alright?"
Parth reassured her, "Yes, he will be. Because none of us can defeat Kaal, not even Tara, whose abilities are on par with his. Yet he was soundly defeated by a single blow. If Veer can defeat him so effortlessly, then he will be fine. He might be injured and avoiding us to prevent you from seeing him in this state. Trust me, he will be okay. Now, can we leave?"
Maya responded, "Uncle, why not just say we need to get out of here instead of beating around the bush? Fine, I'm coming, but give me a moment."
Jay inquired, "Why, Maya? Do you anticipate someone coming here?"
Maya got to her feet and replied, "No, he surprised me pleasantly, so I'd like to return the favor. Please wait a moment while I prepare my gift and leave it here for him to find."
Maya proceeded to gather her paintings from the study room and art supplies from the storeroom. She asked, "Would any of you like to paint?"
Nemo eagerly responded, "May I, Sister?"
Maya granted permission, saying, "Of course, you can paint anything and anywhere, except the study room and the garden. As for these paintings, can any of you help me send them to my parents?" Lily, Jay, and Jai took the paintings and teleported them to the address Maya provided for delivery. They returned promptly, having changed into courier service attire.
Nemo took brushes and paints from Maya and said to Parth, "Alright, now I can show you my painting skills, Teacher."
For half an hour, they engaged in a chaotic painting competition inside the mansion, with the goal of turning the colorful walls and antiques into a canvas of discord and the "trophy" being the gift of their terrible art to Veer.
Upon completing their task of transforming the magnificent mansion into a whimsical and messy masterpiece, Maya exclaimed with satisfaction, "I'm done. Now let's leave this 'trophy' for my boyfriend."
After locking the door and casually tossing the keys in an unknown direction, Maya led the group to a lotus pond.
Jay thought to himself, "Goodness, she's truly childish and quite a handful. Who would turn an entire mansion into a chaotic mess out of anger? I should steer clear of these two kids, or I might develop a migraine. They've completely transformed this grand mansion into a whirlwind of chaos."
Maya prayed at the lotus pond, saying, "Dear Holy Lotus! It is said you are a symbol of purity and divinity. I'm praying for you to bless Veer with a happy and healthy life. Please keep him safe for me. Also, when he returns here, greet him on my behalf."
She then turned to Parth and asked, "Mr. Parth, are you absolutely sure there's no one else here?"
Parth reassured her, "Yes, there is no one in this vicinity. Didn't you see for yourself?"
Maya replied, "Well, I sensed something, but I might just be feeling insecure due to recent events. Alright, let's go."
While no one else felt the presence she mentioned, they respected her intuition. They all teleported through a portal to Parth's guest house.
At Jess's Guest House:
Parth welcomed Maya, saying, "Welcome, Maya. This is my home. You'll be staying here for some time from now on. If you're uncomfortable here, please don't hesitate to let me know."
Maya replied, "I don't think it's much different from a regular house, so I'll be fine here."
Jay asked, "You mean you're not feeling uncomfortable here?"
Maya questioned, "Are you hoping I won't be comfortable here?"
Jay responded, "No, I just find it odd."
Maya said, "What's odd about it? Don't tell me you have a 'no strangers allowed' spell here to prevent anyone from entering."
Jay answered, "No, it's just that this house is special."
While they were walking through the house, a sudden burst of bright sparkles flooded in, so radiant that they eclipsed the midday sun. These sparks originated as small beams of light and culminated in a magnificent fireworks display in the daytime sky, taking everyone by surprise.
Maya marveled at the sight and commented, "It's beautiful, isn't it, Nemo? Nemo?" She sensed their silence and turned to face them, only to find bewildered and vigilant expressions. "Jai, Lily, Jay, Parth? What's with your expressions?"
Jay stated, "Maya, I told you this house is special, right?"
Maya replied, "Of course, I can see it now, just how special it is."
Jay explained, "Maya, this house is pure magic in and of itself, and it's invisible."
Maya was puzzled and asked, "What does that mean?"
Parth clarified, "It means that only those with pure magic or those who have been invited can enter. But I'm surprised you're neither a tantrika nor did I invite you, yet you entered without any issues."
Maya maintained a confused expression, "!!!!"
Parth asked, "Do you know what these fireworks signify?"
Maya shook her head.
Parth continued, "This is your first lesson. Every magic has a master. When a caster uses their magic, it develops its own consciousness. Typically, an invisible spell would not disturb anyone in its territory. But if someone goes against its rules, it will react aggressively."
Maya asked, "So, what's the connection between these sparks and the disturbance you're talking about, Mr. Parth?"
Parth responded, "It means there's an intruder here who is powerful enough to see the invisible house and is able to subdue the magic without breaking the spell."
Maya thought to herself, "Are you sure you're saying someone is trespassing in your house? No one will believe it with how calmly you're stating this."
Maya suggested, "Then we should inform the police."
Parth agreed, saying, "Yes, certainly. But before that, he needs to realize his mistake. Does he believe he can easily make pure magic submit to him? He must be dreaming."
Maya questioned, "Parth, why is there an opening over there?"
Parth inquired, "Where?"
Maya replied, "Where I saw the first spark."
Suddenly, the entire house filled with the scent of jasmine. "Parth, is there any incense here? The air is filled with the fragrance of blooming jasmine."
Parth stated in an alert tone, "No, it's an alert. He can now enter and leave this house as he pleases. I think it's time to greet this uninvited guest."
Jai and Jay expressed wonder, "But how? Not even our council elders can cross it without your permission. How can he so effortlessly nullify your brother's magic and even reconfigure it? It doesn't make any sense, Parth."
Parth explained, "Now is not the time to contemplate it, Jai. What we need to do is figure out what he wants and keep her safe." He abruptly launched an attack, striking at the air.
Maya asked, "Jay, what is he doing? Is he unable to accept that someone else is controlling his house and may have gone mad?"
Maya, however, suddenly uttered, "Gho... Ghost."
Nemo asked, "What?"
Lily said, "I think she's saying that the uninvited guest is a ghost."
Nemo clarified, "He's not a ghost."
Maya questioned, "If he's not a ghost, then who is he? Who is this uninvited guest?"
Lily noted, "Let's discuss it later. Right now, we have things to do. Let's start forming a protective shield array. Nemo, stay with her."
