Jane is now 14, and Lord Damon has been trying to find Jane's true parents but nothing is coming up. Jane has been homeschooled her entire life, and every time she asks to go to school Lord Damon doesn't want to hear it. "but Dad please let me go I will be good and keep to myself I promise!" Lord Damon had two choices let her die or turn her he didn't hesitate, he bit her neck so she would not die. Lord Damon had felt that he was pretty much sucking the life out of his only daughter. Lord Damon felt devastated and never imagined he'd feel so unworthy to turn her into a vampire. After he had drained her from more than half her blood he gave her his blood. After that Jane felt an excruciating pain and for the next half hour all you heard from her were screams. Lord Damon had remembered the Promise he made to Trisha Before she died, "Please let her choose if she wants this life?" the words kept repeating for he had now forced the life of regret and guilt upon his daughter a never ending life. Jane's pain had stopped meaning the transformation was complete and Jane was a newborn vampire. From this point on Lord Damon would not rest in tell he found the person who shot Jane forcing him to turn her. "Dad I feel really thirsty." Jane said with an overwhelming thirst for blood. "I know honey and you will I have some blood in the fridge, but tomorrow I'll teach you to hunt." Lord Damon went to the kitchen and grabbed a bag with 6 pints of blood in it "The best for you my beloved Daughter." Lord Damon handed her the bag. Jane looked at him. In disgust "am I supposed to eat this, that's yucky." "yes and I'm sorry but this is how life is now and you have to get used to it." He frowned for he thought that he'd made the biggest mistake in his life. Jane the human is gone but now he can start a new adventure with Jane the vampire.
