4.First meeting.

Jack went home. He had his dinner and went to his study to do some work. He then went to sleep. The drawing is lingering before his eyes. Jack is not able to sleep. He switched on the light and started reading the mysterious book which he received in the parcel.

These words were written on the first page of the book. When Jack read those lines, he felt some what disturbed in his heart.

By thinking , he felt that he heard those lines somewhere . Suddenly, his head started to ache.. so he stopped reading and went to bed. Next morning, he went to office as usual. He completed his works and meetings fast and came to his home early as there was a party held by the Wiltons , a business partner . He got ready and went to the party with his secretary. As he entered , many women were gasping and complementing him. He ignored everyone but spotted a pair of eyes which are seeing him affectionately and surprisingly. He lingered his look for a second and went to greet Mr.Wilton. He then went to discuss some business matters with other men . After discussing, he went to beverages counter and ordered red wine. As he is drinking the wine, he suddenly remembered those eyes. He had a very familiar feeling as though he had seen those eyes somewhere.

Those eyes are so captivating and alluring. As he is immersed in his thoughts, a woman came and tapped his shoulder. she stood in front of him. Jack shook off the hand on his shoulder. The woman smiled and said "Mr.Millard don't you remember me? We met at a party arranged by the Simptons. I am the one and only daughter of the Jordans."

"Sorry I don't remember you.I basically forget about unnecessary things ." " Oh ! so you forgot. Actually I admire you very much. You accomplished many things only at such young age. Why don't we get a drink ? "

"Sure."

" Ok . I will get them."

The woman came back with two glasses of red wine and offered to Jack. Jack drank the wine. The woman asked " Mr. Jack why don't we go on a date?"

Jack replied " Miss I am not interested in these. Moreover I am not interested in you. so please don't try to pester me " . The woman went away dissatisfied .

Jack got annoyed . Just then, another pat landed on his shoulder. Jack thought that the woman came again and got annoyed. He turned around and was about to scold, he became stunned. Those eyes again. They are simply beautiful. Jack looked at the beauty and became mesmerised. This is the face in that painting.
