Getting to Know You

"I'm still 26,I just actually turned 26 last Tuesday" while patting himself in the head.

Well,I did expect that he's older than me,but didn't expect him to be 26,he looks younger than his actual age,anyways...

"Oh really,I thought you were like 24 or something,sorry about that" I said.

"Nah,it's fine. I do hear that most of the ti--"

"Are you single?" I asked without thinking...

"What's wrong with you Lu Lu,how could you ask him that?! You totally screwed up Lu Lu" saying this on my mind while covering my face with the tray...

And so,I put down the tray,but little did I know,he started to blush... "Is it because of what I've asked?" "Does this mean he's single?!" *wondering.

"I've been single for quite some time now..." he answered.

"Oh, really, why? What happened to your past relationship?" I asked out of curiosity again...

I was wondering if it'd be okay to ask this question,I mean we need to have some privacy,right?

"Oh nothing much,we always fought over the phone and tha--"

" Did the both of you hd some misunderstanding?" I interrupted him without even realizing...

"She kept on blaming me that I was the one who was cheating and..."

I noticed he was kinda sad when he said this,maybe it was the girl who cheated...

Well,I might just say this...

"She was the one who cheated,right? I asked.

He looked at me,and stared at me blankly...

"Uhh,you guessed it right. She was the one who cheated" smiling bitterly...

I started to wonder who this girl might be,I mean she's kinda dumb for cheating. She has a boyfriend which was almost every girl's dream!

Maybe she was looking for a sugar daddy,pfft laughing while imagining things.

"Uh Lu Lu?" Ling asked me while waving his hand at me.

Damn,I forgot he was still there,my bad.

"Oh yeah,Ling, sorry. Sooo-- I'll ask this question out of curiosity,what was the reason she cheate--"

I didn't get the chance to finish what I was gonna ask... He smack the table,and stands...

I was really shocked and scared at the same time. "Did I say something wrong?" I asked.

"Sorry Lu Lu,I have to go..." he answered.

He really seemed to be annoyed with the question I was gonna ask. I mean more like to be,he was annoyed... because of me!

"Oh dear,I messed up again!" I shouted,and got the attention of our costumers... I quickly tidied up the table and quickly run into the changing room. I was at my locker,standing there saying...

"Why did I even bother asking that stupid question?!"

"Ughss! I better go make up with him!"

And so,I quickly went outside of our shop,but I was too late,he left with his Lamborghini Aventador. "I guess he's kinda rich for having the kind of car."

I went inside the shop looking so disappointed with myself and full of hesitations.

"What happened there Lu Lu?" my colleagues asked.

I didn't give them an answer... I didnt even gave them a look. I felt so down...
