A hot shower is what its needed after a hectic day, that's what I thought while standing in my bath robe. Soon my mother called me for dinner and what I acknowledge at dinning table was a feast , the dishes I love all together. I guess this is the best way a mother can express her love for her child.

While eating , my dad asked me for about how long I would stay because he had a news.

Dad : Its your cousins wedding next week and it'll be fun after such a long drive .

Meera's Pov

This news brought a smile at my face thinking its the best moment to forget about the past and refresh my life with my family and friends.

One week later

The venue was all covered with marigolds and banana leaves, fragrances of various delicacies watered my mouth after all its the Indian wedding full five days of culture, dances drama and fun .

While chit- chatting with my cousins my eyes landed on a chiseled body with smoky features and those curly hair fallen elegantly on his forehead.

I did not realise when my cheeks turned red 😳 Or maybe it's the blush I had put on.

Tryna escape this awkward situation 😬 ........" No its just the one I had put on , the one I recently bought. Isn't it really pigmented??" .......... Pheww

In no time we all cousins were on the dance floor and DJ playing one after another all those sassy bollywood songs capable of making no one resist. Dance floor was full of people hoping , hooting, doing hook steps and showing off best of their moves.

My eyes again discovered him from the dance floor and traced his path ,how couldn't they he's such an eye candy and knows well how to stand out of a croud. Making all this happiness, fun and madness momentary .....Soon everything went blurry and dark for me .........▪️◾◼⬛

When I opened my eyes, found myself lying on a bed in a room with my mom and cousin beside me.

When she saw me gaining my senses, she was all teary, but the irony was I could not remember an inch of it.How I landed up here?????🧐🥴

Soon caught up with my memory and remembering that embarassing moment forced me to shut my eyes again.

Meera's POV

I met my entire family, relatives and him after ages and all I could do was win this embarassment for me . How could I even do this to me?? 😣. How could anyone ever do this to them . Even people who were wasted would have not done this .

How could I fall right on my face on the table loaded with drinks just right when our eyes met ..🤫

But why am I even thinking much? He was just a childhood crush ....and so what if he's still handsome ...... I have nothing to do with him now after last time when he treated me like trash. Yes! Neither do I have anything to do with him nor does he. And we'll even not see each other's face until any wedding is around, and until we both are attending it.

Reassuring me with this fact and done with doctors examination and injection session I immediately fell asleep
