Chapter 4: living alone

After class Avary was given directions by cherry towards the nearest bus stop she was headed the same way as Avary.

“Thanks for showing me the way.” Avary thanked cherry, and they both separated.

She headed towards her penthouse.

She took the elevator and entered the luxurious penthouse which had two bedrooms with two bathroom in it, A kitchen and a big living room.

The penthouse was decorated by Avary herself to suit her taste. It looked quiet comfy but to her even if it was comfy it did not have any warmth it was large and cold.

Up hair in a messy bun.

She went to the kitchen and made herself a cup of tea and headed to the living room and sat on the floor. She rested the cup with the tea onto her coffetabel which had her school books to do her homework.

After finishing her homework Avary recieved an incoming call from her bestfriend May.

“Hey may..” she said In soft voice.

May: Ava I’m so sorry I couldn’t move in with you...”

Avary: “it’s okay... your brother is sick so you have to take care of him.”

May: “thank you so much... you’re probably bored in that penthouse by yourself?”

Avary: “it’s nothing...at least I can relax by myself...”

May: “yes lucky you *chuckles*

Before avary could continue talking may cut in, “hey Ava sorry my brother is calling me... I have to go. I’ll talk to you later okay...”

“Yes I’ll talk to you later.” May ended the call and avary put her cell down.

Yea...it’s really lonely she thought to herself when a drop of tear fell from her eyes.

Avary walked to her bedroom and saw a picture of her family which had her 3 brothers, her little sister and her parents.

She rested her finger on the frame of her parents and mumbled with a cracked voice. “Why...why did you not tell me...” tears started flowing continuously non stop.

Suddenly Avary’s nose started to bleed.

She took a napkin from her desk and wiped the blood from her nose.

“I don’t understand...is it that hard for you to tell me what’s wrong with me...” she whispered looking at the blood on the napkin as her voice cracked again.

A week after

Avarys time at school was very fun she made couple other friends from her class Jade and Molly those two were friends since kindergarten and had not seperated since and cherry was their friend whom they met in middle school.

Avary had not spoken to Jace ever since she met him in the library. She saw him in class and sat next to him but they haven’t spoken to each other since.

In the cafeteria

“Ava! Over here!” A girl waved she had long chestnut hair and silver eyes, and the girl next to her had long dirty blond curly hair, and light brown eyes.

The girl waving was jade and the girl next to her was Molly. Jade was very lively while molly is a timid person.

Avary went up and sat next to them “Hey guys.”

“ *gasp* you eat a lot!” Jade said looking into avarys lunch plate.

Avary looked down in her plate“This is nothing, this is only half.”

Jade looked at her in disbelief, how was all that food only half “I wish I was like you! You have such a nice body you can eat all you like and not get fat.”

Avarys face turned a little down, yes it was nice indeed to have a body where you can eat and not get fat but it was not nice to have a body like her.

Molly and cherry both looked at ava’s expression and both asked “what’s wrong Ava?”

Ava smiles and looked at them. “It’s nothing,” she reassured and began eating her lunch with a smile on her face.

They all were interrupted by the lively gasps and screams of girls looking at the back entrance of the canteen where 4 guys walked in.
