Chapter 2 : Afraid

(After the conversation Narik realizes that she saw a man looking at her and snaps out of it thinking in her mind- Ahh! I don't just know how to react now… What if he remembers. I'm so afraid. What should I do?!)

(as soon as narik turns back the person she was in contact with was in front of her)

Ahhh! *thud*(narik falls down)

You scared me! Why are you standing so close? And why do you have to come so close like a ghost??

Oh!Man My clothes...

The Man: I'm really sorry for scaring you like this?? But I have a question to ask you only if you're comfortable. Can I?

Narik: So you say you're not going to help me stand up first?

The Man: Ahh! My bad!

(the man helps narik stand up)

Narik: Thank you! So what is your question?

The Man: Uhh! It might sound too rude but

Have we met before?

Narik: Have we?

The Man: Ahh! Forgot it. It was a rude question?! You reminded me of someone I've lived and learned with.

Narik: Ohh! No that was not rude. I was being rude. I'm sorry. And We have never met before.

Maybe you found the wrong person.

The Man: Oh is it! Then thank you for sparing your time for my question!

(Narik accidentally touches her bracelet and realizes she has a cut on her palms when she fell down)

The Man: Oh! You're bleeding. Let me buy you an ointment.

Narik: No! It's alright. I must've taken too much of your time

The man: You're so stubborn

(The Man grabs her hand softly and takes her to the Medical store buys the ointment)

Narik in her mind(What is this? Why am I So nervous! Oh! My Lovely heart. Please Stop)

(The Man takes her hand and starts applying the ointment softly. And asks Does it hurt?)

Narik: No! It'll burn a little, will be itchy for a while and then everything will be back to normal. I'm totally okay.

(Narik in her mind: I've been hurt way more than this! And I've hurt the person I loved too. This must be the punishment I'm receiving for hurting the person I loved.)

(The Man after listening to Narik starts gently blowing her hand and applies the ointment more softly)

(Narik in wild thoughts realizes how kind-hearted the Man is. But she flashbacks in the memories where words wounded her heart)

Narik: Why do you care so much if I got hurt?

The man: That's what anyone should do. You got hurt because of me. So I must take care of it.

Narik: But Are you really a good person?

(The question that Narik asked struck The Man, and he stops.)

The Man: I think it's applied very well to the wound. It'll heal if you apply the ointment daily.

Narik: Ok thank you so much! I'll call you if I need further medication.

(Narik standing alone and watching him disappear says)

Narik: I wish we would've never met. If only I could erase our memory.
