Red highlighted the small garden ,the thorns tall and sharp .The roses looked as though they were crafted by an artist who was in love  .

The rose garden was by far the most beautiful thing in the big grey house filled with marbles and little pebbles .A little girl in a pink and blue matching set stood in front of the garden staring at the perfect little red roses.

"Amiya ,come inside the guests are here." the soft tone of her mother reached her tiny little ears.

Turning around, Amiya was met with a long baby blue dress that seemed to shimmer in the hot sun. Her mother stood before her looking as beautiful as the roses she was just admiring.

Loren Arah was a beautiful woman who  had a unique per of eyes that would remind you of a storm in a winter night but they were not at all horrid ,not at all .Those grey eyes knew how to put you in a comforting place in the middle of a war.

The twenty five year old looked as magnificent as a museum piece that should be admired behind a glass wall. Amiya looked at the grey eyes that were identical to her own and smiled.

Loren picked up her girl and walked gracefully into the house were  there stood two males ,well one man and a boy. The boy looked around the beautiful house and tried to pick up a small vase of flowers when the man sitting next to him shook his head lightly.

Loren walked up to them nervously as she help the tiny human in her arms .She put the girl down and smiled nervously at the man.

"Roland!Timmy!" Amiya shouted excitedly at the man and boy ,running to embrace them in a hug .The man ,Roland picked up the tiny girl and kissed her forehead. Timmy looked at his father and Amiya with a huge grin on his face.

Loren smiled at the interaction between her little girl and the two new official members of her family. All her worries evidently vanishing from her face.

"Amiya ,Timmy can you both sit down. Roland and I have something to tell you both."  Her soft timid voice sounded .They all got seated in the grey and black couches that highlighted the beautiful living room.

"Roland and I are getting married,and we will be moving into a new house."she gracefully announced but her words were only understood by the twelve year old boy as the youngest continued to play in Roland's arms.

"Does that mean you are going to be my new mother ?" Timothy asked staring at Loren .He adored the women and her daughter, the woman was so kind and treated him as if he were her own.

Loren nodded and grinned at the young boy ,she could not remember why she was so nervous but looking at Amiya who was giggling while playing with Roland and Timothy who was now trying to explain marriage to the giggling five year old.

Maybe agreeing to Roland's marriage proposal she ever made since Amiya was born and she loved Roland very much.

Loren was the happiest women on earth  but one thing she dreaded was the thought of Amiya's real father.
