James, drop me at the library today, I don't want to be late on my first day of the job.

Yes, jess I will drop you now.

Jessica arrives at the library 15 minutes earlier at her job. She greets everyone there and settles at her desk. The previous receptionist explains her what she has to do.

Miss Jessica, apart from all these works, you will also have to supervise and entertain the customers.

There are few regular people who comes regularly and VIPs too ,make sure they are attended on the priority basis, also see that the books are arranged in order.

After this the former receptionist leaves the job for her maternity leave.

Jessica makes note of everything of what tasks she has to do and arranges her work. The rest of the day goes with the introduction and the formalities. Later The owner arrives to close the library.

"Hey, you are Jessica right ? I am the owner of the library and also very good friend of your grandfather", said Mr David.

Hello sir, it's my pleasure to meet you and thank you for giving me this job.

Hey, don't use honorific as I said, I am your granddad's friend you can call me david.

Okay sir, oops! Mr david.

"That's better. It's getting late should I drop you home?".

"No, Mr david. My brother James will come to pick me up in some time.Thank you, for asking", replied Jessica.

"It's fine. Do tell me, if you need my help anytime. I will go now, see you around later", said mr David and leaves.

Jessica smiles and then waved at his car, while he is going.

After he left.

"Hello, james where are you! I have been waiting for you in front of the store for some time now", Jessica yells at her brother in phone.

"I was playing games, I forgot about it. I will reach there in few minutes,sorry."

"You better come fast or else I won't talk to you and will call mom too",says Jessica.

Jess, don't call mom. I will be there as fast as possible and disconnects the phone.

*Sighs* What I will do with this brother.

She calls her bestfriend from college. While she was talking in her phone ,she sees an adorable puppy on the other side of the road.

Seeing her, the puppy starts to cross the road.

Jessica hears a loud sound of a bike coming from the corner of the road in a high speed.

Oh my god, watch out. She yells and runs towards the puppy.

The sports bike, comes near them and stops almost touching them, where they were. Jessica falls down on the road with the puppy but manages to hold the puppy, still she gets few scratches in her arms.

The person who rode the bike removes the helmet and comes near them.

Are you both okay. I am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt any of you.
