CHAPTER 2: THE DAY I GOT TO KNOW HER

After a few hours later, the bell rings and it's recess time. So i went outside to wait for irene. but suddenly eva ask me " xian where are you going?"and i said "im going somewhere for writing, its too loud here in our classroom i cant focus " and eva said" okay" then im going now. so just like that i went outside and irene is already here waiting for me. i said" irene im sorry for waiting" and she said "its okay. lets go." so were heading to the coffee shop and eat our foods then she suddenly ask me " um by the way how did you know my name?" and i said "um i.. actually the day i run towards you, i ask my classmate airi if she know you..." and she said "ahh thats why hahaha (its a fake laugh! i swear thats fake!!) bu--but im just doing it because i wanted to apologized to you." and she said "its okay you've apologized already and i already forgive you... oh by the way, i haven't introduce myself yet. im irene fifteen years old"and i said "thankyou for forgiving me (*smile). oh by the way im xian nian sixteen years old." and she said "are you a transferee?" and i said "yeah" and then we continue eating our food and talking about ourselves. then after eating i went ot the counter to buy water and eva saw me and ask " xian what are you doing here? i thought you were going to a place for your writing?" and i answered " yeah, i was going to, but unfortunately my friend invited me here to grab a snack" and she said "okay... then... i'll see you later" and so i went back to the table and brought water for irene.

Then the bell rings and so we went back to our separate classroom. and im glad teacher is not here yet so i continue reading an online comic. then a minute later our class started.

after a few hours later, our class ended and its our lunch time. so i just headed back home.(and i notice that eva was a bit mad. is she mad that i didn't invite her to come with me? or is she jealous? does she like me? did i hurt her? anyway i think i should better ask her and stop overthinking about it. but now i have to eat my lunch now.)

So after i've eaten my lunch, i headed back to school and at the classroom i ask eva.." eva!" and she said "huh?" and i said "come here!" and she said "why? what do you need?" um eva relax please. she said " what do you mean? i am relax" um i know i- i just want to ask you but please dont be mad and she said "im not mad xian.now tell me what's the matter?" um well... i notice you earlier, you were quite mad and you didn't even say something to me before our class ended. so i thought i did something bad to you and i was a bit worried so i decided to ask you why are you mad, why did you ignore me? is it something to do about taking snack with my friend? and she said "well xian im afraid you know me well. but i can't tell you right now its hard for me to explain... can i tell this next time xian?" okay if your not comfortable to talk about it now its okay eva.. you dont need to force yourself take your time i'll be waiting. and she smile and said "thankyou xian" so just like that i ask eva but i didn't get the answers...anyway so miss ann is in and our class has started.

a few hours our class ended just like the following days but then irene saw me and ask me " xian! do you want to go?"

and i ask "where irene? "then she said " well i actually decided to go to the library and i thought if i could ask you--" " then lets go!" i interrupted her. ops sorry irene for interrupting , i just love going in library. i actually went to library every afternoon when i was in 6th grade and she said "oh is that why ..AHHAHAHAHAH its okay lets go then but could you wait. i have something i forgot to bring" yeah its okay irene (that laugh wasn't fake.. i think she's happy now... im happy that she's happy. her face is full of happiness now and its making me smile, its like i've look at a sunflower with its dazzling shiny petals.) but then eva saw us and ask me "xian your friend is irene?" um yeah but it just happened because of that accident.(oh no, airi looks very jealous i think she misunderstood me) um... but eva dont worry i won't forget you, you're still my one and only best friend. i smile and she said "ok i'll go now bye." bye eva (that was cold. i never thought eva would be as cold as ice.) anyway irene already here and we're headed to the library.

so we got arrived at the library.(so since i dont know what to read.. so i need to whispered to irene and ask her to recommend me a book. ugh why am i nervous, i just going to ask her but in whispered) i whispered and ask irene. " irene would you recommend me a book? i dont really know what to read. its different from the library i've used to go." then she said "here. its entitled "sunflower girl" irene whispered. (her face is so close to me why do i feel like im having butterflies in my stomach) ohh that sounds interesting and she said "yep, it is" have you read it? and she said "yes a million times" so that means you really like this book?and she said "yes i like it very much thats why i recommend it to you" ohh okay i should read this now and then she said "okay xian".
