Faraway in the heart of the Pelvic valleys there lies the Empire of Vanity mostly popular as Pride . Found and named after one of the greatest heroes himself Sir Vanity, Pride has since never failed to look after its people. From the founder himself to his later generation , the current emperor Cyril De Rodriguez have devoted their heart to their beloved Pride and so they expect for their descendent as well .

But this is not the history of Pride but the story of the princess who lives in it , the Daughter of " THE " Cyril de Rodriguez , Princess CITADEL DE RODRIGUEZ or famously known as the " unfavored princess" . The third day of April in the mid day right when all the bell in the temple rang all together making a delightful melody, that is when she was born . The people of Pride Cheered as they hear the news of the stars arrival but the joy didn't last long as just after 5 days the Empress, mother of Pride dies leaving her children and the Empire motherless .

Desperate the Emperor become when the news stroked , his beloved wife had died living him lifeless . " What am I going to do I ..I won't be able to live anymore !" . As much tragic it my have become for the emperor but The Little baby princess was more pitiful then any one . Not even at the age to see properly she will now have her memory with out her mother besides her .

After the news had stroked the empire hundreds of people came to the palaces doorsteps willing to work as the princesses nanny . After a week of finding nannies , instead of a nanny a venomous snake enters the palace with her egg that she wants to replace and eyeing for the chair next to the emperor . Lily Doormat former "close friend "of the emperor and the snake that had taken away the happiness of the royal family before and now she might want it again as will . She starts to reintroduce her self even though they both are well accented. " Blessings and Glory to the sun of Pride , I Lily Doormat have came here to seek for the role to become her highness the royal princess's nanny " she said to which the emperor response to " how have you been Lady Doormat ? ". Right then after the emperor said that the women got the chance to slide in to the hole . " what can I say your majesty after the whole incident I went to the country side as the late emperor had said and till this day I have lives in a hut but after my husbands tragic death 2 years ago I have lived with my dear daughter in misery" crying a sea of a tear every drop ,she gained the sympathy of the emperor quickly as he had too loosed his wife . He agreed to give her the nannies post and gave her a room in the princess palace . Right after two weeks Lily had already been the head of the maids in the princess palace . She would take care of the princess and her daughter. She would love them and even let them have tea parties , She would even arrange a family tea party with the prince and the emperor . She made them believe that she is the light to their darkness the gift by god . 5 years later in the April 3rd the emperor announces the start of misery , Making Lily Dorment his concubine and her daughter the 1st princess . Then , the people didn't think much , "I mean how bad would it be she is kind, beautiful and even the royal princess and Prince love her what could go wrong ? " answer : The princess life afterwards .

Fast forward the day of the wedding Princess Citadel gets sick which leads to her not attending in the party. The only royal there will be are the prince Coren De Rodriguez , the emperor Cyril de Rodriguez and the pair of mother and daughter that gets the title of De Rodriguez . The perfect picture Lily had created in her mind as her so called family.

2 years later , year 1***

The Empire of Vanity, is still the same with joyfulness and happiness. But the things that have changed are not in the empire but in the palace. In the 2 years our beloved princess Citadel has become constantly sick and turned into a renowned rebel and lily's daughter Lyle the next priestess. Lyla has successfully stolen every thing Citadel ever had a father, a brother, loyal servants and beloved country. The emperor starts to spend less time with her, the prince still loves her but has been under loads of work. Her protector no more left. As time passed Lily fired all her loyal servants and left her "spoiled noble" friends instead who do nothing but sleep, drink and gossip. She would come over to Citadels palace every day to give her a bowl of hot milk as a form of food and carried her to the garden where everyone could see how much of a "caring mother she was" . No one ever suspected her as all the workers where on her side.

After the so called meal she would make her do the chores every day . And when the clock strick 3 lily would bring her to the top of her palace and lock her as she brings the emperor to spend time with her daughter . Each day she would cry . The only day she ever smiled was the day the prince her brother come visit her . Her palace was clean and tidy the kitchen had loads of but the only thing wrong was his sisters health . No matter how much the doctor sees her the only recommendations was give her some different medications each day . Lyla had brain washed the emperor into thinking she was the only daughter he really had and if Coren would say something he would say talk that Matter to your mother . The situation was very bad abd what would the 10 year old even do any ways he was still too young him self .

At the age of 7 she has now been a patient of depression . And now again at 3rd of april at the mid day right when the bell rings all together in the temple , She jumps in the late 2 princess and her second aunts beloved pond called " Merrivail pond " where her fathers childhood had gone with his other 8 late siblings and his father and now her tragic death . " even if I die the only one to cry will be my brother ...... I am sorry brother I couldn't keep my promise to see the night star together tonight "

The palace is celebrating the birthday of Citadel where she is said to be ill again by her beloved former nanny and now mother where the spotlight is on her daughter lyla and her beloved so called family.

Suddenly the lightning strikes in the Merrivail mansion and a group of figure seems to appears near the pond . " Happy birthday my dear Citadel , I am sorry I came late please forgive me " the figure says in a soothing way whiles carrying the princess in their arms and returns towards the Merrivail mansion together with the rest of the figures .
