Sylvie's POV

I waited patiently for my daughter. It was already 9:00pm and I haven't seen her yet. Her bestie refuse to tell me anything. She kept on saying I shouldn't worry that she will soon be home. I got tired and I said I wanted to talk to her.

Ivy's POV

He released my hand when I told him my phone was ringing he released my right hand and he was still pining my left hand to the bed . I picked up my phone from my jacket pocket and I saw it was my mom. I gasped for air. I knew she was so worried since I wasn't home. "What do I tell her" I murmured as I picked her call.

" Hi momma"

"Ivy, where are you, aren't you coming home?

"Momma (looked at Felix) I won't be able to make it home today"

" Why, what's the problem?

"We have a project to submit first thing tomorrow morning, and we have been working for hours without our eyes been closed or having a glimpse of sleep" *lied*

" My baby girl, Just try and rest your muscles. So where are you sleeping tonight in your office?

"No momma, I'm in my friend's house, I mean female not male.

"OOO, I see. Can I talk with her just to confirm that you are fine?

"MMM momma, she is not with me at this moment, she went out not long ago.

"Why would she go out by this time of the day?

"She went to drop the trash...... nope, she went to get something at the mall......... nope she went to change the power........ no she........

" That's enough. But something seems suspicious. You guys should just be careful, make sure you lock the door, off all lights and close all curtains before going to bed, okay"

" Go and take your bath and come out quickly,I give you 10 minute"

*Stood up from the bed*

" Wait what,10 minute how do you expect me to finish bathing in 10 min?

"Do you intend to use the whole night to take your bath? and how many minutes do u spend in the bathroom?

"I spend like 30 minutes and at most an hour"

" Do you give birth, One hour in the bathroom, just go in there and take your bath. I told you,10 minute and you our out of that bathroom. 7minutes gone it remains 3minutes more"
