Episode two
Fiona arrived at the palace by going through the back. No worker of the palace has ever passed the front gate unless the lord himself says so.
And not every Worker gets to behold the face of the warlord. Only a few workers that were on a death trial got to see his face.
To avoid the gaze and wrath of other maids, Fiona carefully crept inside the kitchen like a mouse. The maids were busy preparing dishes and cleaning the building.
Her main job was to deliver the dishes to the guest of the palace and even to the warlord. But she has never seen what he looked like, only his portrait that was hung at the entrance. However, that portrait was painted six years ago.
Finally, Fiona quietly perched on a stool beside a storehouse where provisions were kept.
Wong
Where is that little flee?
She's the head of all maids and the warlord's cook. She's also one of those that mistreat Fiona and overused her when it comes to chores, and it's not even her main duty.
Fiona (FL)
She knows am late.
Wong
You better come out now, or I'll triple the chores for you.
She slowly revealed herself from the storehouse and was nearly attacked by a flying spatula.
Right now, all the other maids that were present were glaring and sneering at her. She avoided their gaze by lowering her head and fidgeting with her fingers.
Wong
Now, I have something for you to do.
They both walked out of the storehouse and towards a small white table where two dishes were served. Both dishes were covered with a stainless steel lid and one of each was meant for the warlord.

They look the same.

How will I know which one is for his PA and the other for him?
Wong
One of the dishes contains onions.
Fiona (FL)
The warlord hates onions.
Wong
Now, the one on the left is for Mr Omar and the other for him.
Wong

Of course, she did. She uncovered the dish on the left and the horrid smell of onions engulfed the atmosphere.
She quickly covered it and gave Wong a quick nod.
