Ling Bai Hu

Ling Bai Hu was the infamous general of Ming dynasty, at just the age of 28 , alpha being his secondary gender.

He belonged to the noble Ling family, Ling meaning 'Spiritual' in Chinese while Bai Hu meaning 'White tiger', named by his late mother.

His father died in a vigorous battle since the three generations of Ling are dedicated to Ming, the imperial family, and his father was the Emperor's first-in-command, back then.

While, his mother died miscarrying his young brother, their third child, just three months after his father's death and at seventh month of her pregnancy.

He would have been their middle child but cause of that miscarriage, he was their second child...

Anyways, he had a elder brother named Ling De Ming, who is older than Bai Hu by 6 years, means he is of 34 years.

After their father's death, technically, De Ming should have been the next first-in-command general but he gave that up and instead took the position of 'The Ministry of Strategies', ultimately making Bai Hu the next first-in-command and keeping the legacy of Ling family thriving as this is the forth generation which is loyal to the Ming's.

At present day,

In the camp of the northern border, Ming dynasty, 1876.

The cold and expressionless general, Ling Bai Hu, just now dismissed his four commanders after having a brief about the border areas and was now looking in the bucket of water, which is reflecting the jewel of sky, the waning crescent or was reflecting before he dipped his blood covered hand in it, rubbing it clean before taking them out and wiping them with the near-by placed towel.

so, apparently he, just minutes, before in the routine 'report giving' meeting has mercilessly killed a captured trespasser.

While he was wiping his hands on towel, from behind him, with the footsteps as soft as the gush of wind, a shadow solider appears and bow respectfully, "Sir".

The general without even blinking at that solider's sudden appearance just placed the towel on edge of that bucket, so that they both can be taken away later and calmly said "Any report, fortunately, this time?", as if, instead, he had been expecting his presence all this while.

The shadow solider straighten up and replied, "Indeed fortunate this time, sir. Sources say that.. HE is currently at the imperial palace in capital".

The general was puzzled by with piece of information and finally turned around, with a faint frown on face, away from that bucket of water with now hanging blood-stained towel and towards that solider, "Imperial palace, u say?...interesting. Months of searching just to find out.. that HE was right under my nose, great!".

The shadow solider lowered his head sensing that his master's mood is not great at the moment, not wanting to spoil it more somehow.

Bai Hu took a deep breath to calm himself down when he saw the shadow solider was picking up on his now sour mood and further said, "Anything more? such as.. what is he doing there? since when he is there and why? anything..?"

The shadow solider, now relived a bit after seeing his master try to stay composed, let's out the breath he didn't even he held in and replied, "HE is no ordinary person, sir.. it took us 4 months just to know about his correct and real location.. but such detailed information, l am afraid, will take more time to know".

Bai Hu simply just faintly smiled, looking kind of... proud? admiring? as he heard this and just said, "I honestly expected nothing less than that from The leader of Heavenly spades even if it's infuriating at times".

The shadow solider smiled little as well, as if he knew the dynamic between the general and the leader and said, "Hacking a developer is ought to be tough, sometimes even more if the said developer we are talking about is the sole founder and leader of the apex assassin organization".

The general laughed and dismissed that solider with the wave of his hand muttering a small, "That's definitely true".

The shadow solider's smile grew a bit wider hearing that laugh but he understood the signal and bowed for last time before slowly inching back into shadows just like the way he appeared, silently.
