CH - 3 The Past (Pt- 1)
Evelyn Lou Hexen was an illegitimate child of Emperor Alexander, that he had with an powerful Alchemist, Viola.
Viola was given the title of the queen, And Evelyn, The 6th princess.
His wife, The Empress, was not ready to welcome the child and her mother to the grand Palace. The problem wasn't that she didn't liked her husband doing that but the problem was, She thought that Viola was not perfect for the position. Although nobody knew that Viola was an Alchemist exept the Emperor.
The Emperor wanted to keep Viola by his side because of Viola's speciality. He thought that his daughter would have also that kind of power. But they came to know that she wasn't an Alchemist.
5 months after Evelyn's birth, Viola died,due to illness.
Now, Evelyn was not worth to the emperor. He wanted to abandon the child, but since he announced that she was an princess, he couldn't deny it anymore.
Everyone in the palace treated her like she was some kind of trash, even the maids
Her Life was like a living hell
Her only maid who treated her like a princess was Clarisse and Kyler was her bff
Kyler was the Son of Her mothers friend, Serene Raynott.
After her mother's death, in fact, serene took care the child. She worked as a gardener in the emperial palace.
Kyler and Evelyn always used to live and play together, they were pretty close. Kyler somehow have a crush on Evelyn, but Naive Evelyn just think of him as a friend.
