Where am I?

I opened my eyes, I felt dizzy. The cold floor almost made me numb. My bitter, dry mouth made it hard to speak. All the windows were closed by hammered planks, light barely came in...

I stood up slowly, trembling. My lips were dry and I was pale white...

I walked toward the kitchen and drank some water...I felt better after getting refreshed by some meals already kept on the table. It was labelled with "Nuts and cereals" I had no idea what are nuts and cereals at all! But the were tasty alright.

I looked around the house and gathered some information.

This was my home and I lived here with my family, I found this weird thing called 'phone' I learned many things with it, probably the basic things.

I saw on the news that a lady had an accident! I felt sorry for her, there was this red liquid all over the road, people called it blood.

I went more into the depth, I found out that the new was 7 years old it hasn't been updated since then...

I took a peek or something like that outside it was awfully quiet...The door that connected to the hallway of apartments which had a bloodbath I  thought.

I looked around for a balcony (in my apartment), I could use some fresh air after seeing that mouth-puking bloody hallway. I found one, it was one in the back rooms.

I opened the door and walked towards the railing and caressed it with my hand admiring the architecture.

While at this act I spotted another horrifying sight, some sorta creature was eating a poor man. They were least 5 to 7 floors below me...I froze, not a strand of my hair could move. It wasn't a zombie, not a human or animal, but a mutant creature with multiple eyes, hands, mouth and some of the organs were hanging outside...

This sight was even worse, I had goosebumps all over...

My heart was racing!

Ba-dup!

Ba-dup!

Ba-dup!

I couldn't help but watch silently while covering my mouth. It finished the man and looked towards me, upwards with a malicious grin.

"Eeep!"

I turned and started walking away.

*Thump*

A shadow cast from behind me, It wasn't mine I could tell, it was way bigger...

When I turned around, I saw it again. That mindless, heartless creature right in front of my face. Sitting on the brick-built railing with beautiful designs. Smiling and staring with crazy wide eyes...

It must have noticed me earlier. This time I don't know why but I stared into the void of its eyes. I was expressionless.

"What are you?..."I said, I didn't expect it to answer, after all it was a monster!

As it charged towards me, it burst...

It burst and blood splattered everywhere! All over me, my balcony, the windows and the walls!
