Have you ever experienced death? Do you question where you go when you breathe your last breath? When all the pain and feeling in your body disappear? I think death was the most peaceful moment in my life.

My name August Bloom, a purebred grey wolf. I was on my way home after a hunt but got hit by a truck when crossing a mountain backside road. At first, pain surged throughout my as the hard rocks on the road stabbed at my skin. I stopped feeling everything as my eyes followed the car that just sent me on the path to death. As my irregular breathing came close to a stop, I slowly closed my heavy eyelids, and went into a deep and everlasting slumber.

"Do you want to live?" A powerful voice spoke clearly in my mind, asking a question that was not hard to decide.

"Yes," I sincerely answered, "Why do you want to live on, even after experiencing such an unfair life?" The voice questioned me again. "The last thing my parents said to me was, " If you can find the strength in you to cry, then you can find the strength in you to do something about it. So I want to make my unfair life something to be proud of." Silence took over once I answered the question of the voice. Then the voice spoke again, " I will grant you this life you so desire, for I believe you'll make use of it." A bright light shone through the pit of darkness. It drew me in, and then spit me out.

I walked through the thin hall as I stopped at the end room. Doubt and hesitation invaded my mind. I stood before their door, not knowing if I should knock or return to my room. Suddenly the door opened before me.
