CHAPTER 2- Weird Night

I just arrived in my new apartment. I wouldn't have move here if I didn't mess up my previous job. I’m just thankful that my best friend Ayana knows someone who is hiring and is short of staff in a café. She recommended me to the owner and luckily no one submitted a job application yet.

I'm not actually picky when it comes to work I just only need to earn something enough to sustain myself as long as I can eat thrice a day then I'm okay with it. Although my father can sustain my daily necessities I still don’t want to ask for money, he always sends money on my bank account but I don’t wanna use the money that I didn’t earn myself and I’m old enough to still ask for my father’s help.

I'm actually an illustrator and I have been a manga artist for who knows when but I also work as a bartender and sometimes as a cashier in a café thanks to my father for letting me enroll to a bar tending class back in my junior days.

I just hope that there aren't any ghost trying to bother me again or will mess up my work. I'm really tired of always changing my apartment and work place. But I really can’t avoid them totally they’re everywhere.

It's still 3:30 in the afternoon maybe I’ll just take a nap first then gonna start unpacking my things later.

It was supposed to be just a nap but I've slept too much. It's already past 7:00 in the evening when I woke up.

I cooked light meal for myself and start unpacking my things, after that I took a bath and sleep. Tomorrow is my first day in a café.

** 5:00 am **

I woke up from the cold breeze coming from the window. Half asleep I turned on the lampshade beside my bed and stand up to close the window. I don’t know what time is it and I’m too sleepy I just wanna close the window and return to bed.

I really don't remember opening the window and if it's a ghost then for how many hours I've stayed in my new apartment I haven't notice any ghost or unusual things, maybe the window lock is loose or I just forgot to lock it and the wind must be strong that’s why it opened.

I went back to sleep and woke up from the loud noise coming from my phone.

*someone's calling someone's calling*

Half asleep I pressed the receive call button on my phone and was greeted by a scolding from Ayana.

"My goodness Hyunah at last you answered my call. It's already passed 7:00 have you forgotten you'd meet your gorgeous best friend today? And just to remind you it's your first day working today. So will you please hurry?" Fudge I just totally slept much I didn’t even hear my alarm clock ringing.

"Be right there Aya just give me 20 minutes. Okay? " I told her while preparing to take a bath.

"How many times do I need to tell you not to call me Aya. It's my mom's dog's name."

"Hahaha… Got it enjoy yourself first while waiting for me" I just laugh it off I can imagine that she is frowning already right now.

"You better hurry" then she ended the call.

I took a bath fast and wear something comfortable.
