Putting the watch in my pocket, I discovered the room I was supposed to enter for my interview.

"Aphrodite lopez, you can do this. Don't be a hopeless freak for a while" I talked to myself. Taking a deep breath, I pushed the door open to find a cute guy sitting behind the desk.

I was in awe that finally, a cute guy is gonna spend some quality time with me, even though i know it's for a dumb interview i won't pass.

"Aphrodite lopez? I suppose it is you." He said in an angelic voice, looking at a few papers which I think were my details.

Gathering up my confidence, I walked up to the desk and took my seat. "I mean it's pretty obvious that it is me"

He looked pretty serious, perhaps he's the type to be serious around work and different outside.

I was admiring how cute he looks, and his voice just makes it more enchanting.

And yet again, I was lost in my own thoughts. Well I guess it's a habit of mine to do so-

"Aphrodite lopez!" A strong force of voice brought me back to reality, which made the atmosphere pretty awkward.

I gave a slight smile, apologizing for my dumb habit. He chuckled abit, propably laughing at how dumbfounded I can be.

He then started speaking with his angelic sweet voice,

"So you are aphrodite lopez, age 21 and height 5'9, weight 57kg. You have a sister who is working for liance company, and you both live together. Your mother and father died in an accident a few years ago, which made you and your sister to move from Los Angeles to here?"

Accident. I know it's not an accident and there's more to know about what happened that day. Thinking about it makes my killer mind lose it.

I gave a sigh and replied, "yes, we moved to California for starting a new life. And to look out for each other"

"You've studied business in one of our institutes, Cecily academy. Which gives you a bonus point for the consideration on working here." He said looking at me with such an enchanting vibe.

"Oh? Well that's a coincidence. I've been struggling to find a right job for myself these past few days"

I continued replying to whatever the majestic angel questions or speak facts about me.

After spending some quality time with him, the words I never expected I'd hear made me get excited and happy.

"Alright you're hired, you'll be working in from Monday. A desk will be made ready for you on the 20th floor. Do well and work hard which will promote you to higher positions"

I was so relieved that I finally wouldn't have to struggle more for finding a job.

I got up from my seat and pulled him closer for a hug. Well looking at him, he must be surprised but I couldn't help it that I was way too happy.

He surprisingly hugged me back and patted my head. I know we both will be in close touch after this which got me thrilled that I have a cute guy- I mean a friend to work with in this company.

"Thank you so much, I promise I'll work hard and prove myself I'm worth it" I said in a proud dumb tone which I guess he found it funny since he started chuckling again.

And so, I got out of the company with a radiant look. My face was glowing as if butterflies were circling above my head.

I looked at her walking out of my company, with such a happy face that somehow made my heart flutter.

She got onto her bike and left, growing more distance between us. I don't know what's this feeling inside me, I wanted to see her everyday, protect her and hold her close.

Those light blue eyes I've met at the Cafe gave me some kind of weird feeling, as if i found the missing piece of my heart.

I kept wondering to myself on what's happening to me, a soft voice made me lose my thoughts and travel back to my office.

"Boss, I've done what you asked for. She seems to be very happy about getting a job. She even hugged me tightly.." He gave in a soft bright smile as if he was embraced by a goddess.

"She hugged you? Go have a shower. No one can feel her touch but me." I don't know why I felt jealous, I didn't like her touching other men as if she was my wife.

A strange presence entered my office, making the atmosphere more tensed. "Calm yourself, brother. She doesn't even know you yet"

I took a seat on my classy expensive black chair which was only reserved for me, and that by means no one else can touch my chair but me.

"I feel a strange connection with her, it reminds me of..." I stopped speaking and got tensed in my stunning thoughts.

"Aiden, It was recorded that she passed away 12 years ago. They even had a funeral for her." Said my brother but I still kept thinking about it.

"Aaron, it's no use. We both know that once he starts thinking of something, he won't come out of it untill there's solid proof."

Williams, my childhood best friend spoke to my brother which is a true fact about myself.

Sure enough, these two are the only people I adore after my parents and sister. Aaron, my younger brother who was born only 1 year after me. And my best friend Williams, who was with me in every situation I found difficult to handle.

But I felt like I've adored that girl deep down in my heart all these years, could it be that she's still alive but her identity was changed?

"Will, did you do a background check around that girl like I've asked you to?" I asked with bright hope in my eyes.

"I did and I failed. Something or someone is protecting her I feel. Her background is confidential that even the top known hacker, which is myself can't get it"

Confidential? It gave a spark to my hope that my princess was still alive.

"Although, when I was doing the interview.." will started speaking which caught our attention.

"She was pretty tensed when I spoke about her parents. As if she knew that it wasn't an accident and got really upset"

"And who are her parents? Exactly?"

Williams looked down and sighed deeply.
