Aether and Paimon to see a red shiny thing hovering over [Name]'s hand

Paimon

"Paimon never seen one of these things before, so Paimon can't tell what it is."

[Name]

"The dragon, should I say Dvalin, also know as stormterror drop this."

Paimon

"It seems dangerous. It's best if we put it away for now."

[Name] nodded in agreement with Paimon before looking over to Aether.

[Name]

"I think you should hold onto it..."

Aether hesitated, despite his respect for [Name]. He obeys as he adds it to his inventory.

Paimon

"Let's get out of here now!"

Paimon says, leading the way for the other two to follow.

Just about the trios was about to start walking there, stopped by a voice.

Amber

"Hey, you! Stop right there!"

Aether and Paimon turned around. But [Name] didn't bother to look back to see who it was.

Running sounds lingered in the air until the girl plunged off a cliff, revealing herself. Aether and Paimon were taken aback. She hurriedly completed a tumbleroll before rising up.

Amber

"May the Anemo God protect you, Stranger!"

She introduced herself as she stood in front of them

Amber

"I am Amber, Outrider of the Knights of Favonius."

Amber

"You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourself!"

Paimon

"Well, we are not looking for trouble."

Amber

"That's what all the troublemakers say."

Aether

"Hello, I'm Aether."

Amber

"...Doesn't sound like a local name to me."

Amber

"And this mascot, what's the deal with it?"

Amber says her hands folded as she glares at Aether and Paimon. [Name] was watching the conversation.

Aether

"Emergency food."

Paimon

"Hey! that's even worse than being a mascot!"

Amber

"And don't think I forgot about you."

Amber turns to [Name]

"Greetings... I am [Name], An traveler from Liyue."

Amber's eyes slightly widened, hearing the response of [Name].

Amber

"Liyue?! What brings you over here?"

[Name]

"Hm, can I not go around exploring like a normal person?"

Amber

"I didn't mean it like that!"

[Name] stayed silent and looked in another direction. It seems like [Name] was no longer interested in talking.

Amber

"So to sum it up, you three are travelling partners, right?"

Amber

"Well, look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstadt recently. Best you get you get inside the city as soon as possible."

Amber volunteers to escort the trio inside the city

Amber

"It's not far from here, I will escort you there."

Paimon

"Oh? Aren't you here for another reason?"

Amber

"I am, but not to worry. I can keep you guys both safe while doing so."

Amber

"Beside...I don't trust you guys, just yet!"

Aether

"That's rather a rude way to speak to guests."

Aether pointed out.

Amber

Amber

"I give you my apologies, uh..strange yet, respectable travelers."

Paimon

"That sounded so fake!"

Amber says, turning to the small fairy child

[Name] started walking leaving the people behind him. The three notices this and catches up to [Name].

Amber

"Hey, I said I will escort you!"

The four go to the path of Mondstadt, encountering a few hilichurls along the way. Amber thanks [Name] for assisting her in cleaning up the hilichurls' camp. But [Name] has a feeling something isn't quite right here. Aether and Paimon observed [Name's] unusual behavior but said nothing about it.

Amber

"Let me officially introduce you to the city of wind, dandelions, and freedom."

Amber

"Welcome to Mondstadt!"

Paimon

"Finally, no more having to camp outdoors."

Paimon

"But...the city folk doesn't seem to cheery."

Amber

"Everyone had been put down out of place by stormterror recently."

Amber

"But everyone would be fine as long as we have Jean around."

Paimon

"Jean?"

Paimon repeated, not knowing who Jean is.

Amber

"Acting Grand master of the Knights of Favonius - Jean, the defender of Mondstadt."

Amber

"With Jean on our side, even surely Stormterror would be no match for us."

Amber looks at the Aether and [Name] when saying this.

Amber

"Before I take you guys to the Knights of Favonius headquarters, I have a present for you, Aether, and [Name]."

Amber

"It's a reward for helping me clear out that hilichurl camp."

Paimon

"He-Hey! Why doesn't Paimon get a reward?"

Paimon says with her hands on her hips

Amber

"Ahh... Because this reward is useless to you, Paimon."

[Name]

And, Paimon, did you consider thinking before you spoke? What exactly did you do, because all you did was direct and order us as if we were pirates on a ship."

[Name] stated out calmly yet so bluntly as he shook his head as if he was disappointed

Paimon

"But that's also called helping too."

Aether

"Paimon what [Name] said was true."

Amber

"But I'll treat you to a traditional Mondstadt delicacy - Sticky Honey Roast."

Paimon seems to lighten up when she heard the word 'Sticky honey roast'.

Paimon

"Sticky Honey Roast!"

[Name]

"Amber, if the reward is related to gliding, I already have my own design of a glider."

*Amber was surprised of how [Name] knew and the slightly pouted*

Amber

"Well, thanks for ruining the surprise, even it wasn't really an surprise anyway."

Amber

"Come with me, we'll head to the city's ahh... high ground."

The four headed up to the so-called 'high ground' Amber was talking about.

Amber

"So the present I wanted to give you is..."

Amber

Amber handed the wind glider to Aether.

Amber

"Name already says he has one, so that only leads to you to also have one."

Amber

"Outriders use them to ride the wind, and the people of Mondstadt love using them too."

Amber

"I brought you here to give it to you so you can experience it right away!"

Paimon

"Oh, you're really excited about these wind gliders, huh!"

Amber

"Well, that's because the wind is the heart and soul of Mondstadt!"

While the two were having a small chat, [Name] notices Aether struggling to put his wind glider.

[Name]

"Here, let me help you."

[Name] offers with a smile, and Aether blushes, embarrassed that [Name] is helping him. As [Name] helped Aether in putting on his wind glider. Aether could feel his warm, soft hands brush against his own skin. Then [Name] whispers something into Aether's ear.

[Name]

"Done."

[Name] slowly backs up, giving Aether personal space. He didn't really notice Aether was red as a tomato.

Amber

"Alrighty then, enough talk! Let's give it a whirl!"

Amber

"It's easy to use, but you still need to pay attention to my instructions."

Aether stood up on the pillar and looked down. He seems very nervous about gliding.

[Name]

"Judging by your reaction, you probably never glided before. Very well, I will glide with you."

This seemed to settle Aether down, as he smiles back at [Name] as they jump together, igniting the glider and flying down to the fountain. Aether was the first to arrive at the fountain, as [Name] remained in the air behind him. The wind became heavier and stronger all of a sudden.

Amber

"The sky..."

The Aether and Amber were both shocked as they heard a roaring sound echoing across the city. People began running around in fear. The dragon roared once more, this time summoning three wind tornados. While still in the air, [Name] was watching everything that was going on. It appears that [Name]'s glider was not typical.

Amber

"Traveler!"

Unfortunately, Aether was caught in the tornados and thrown before he reached the sky and activated his glider.

Paimon

"Huh? How are you staying afloat like this with just a Wind Glider?"

Paimon and Amber appear astonished, but [Name] was not. He was turned upside down by the impact of the wind, and as he regained control of himself, a voice reverberated in both Aether's and [Name's] minds.

"I'm preventing your fall with the power of a thousand winds." A mysterious voice explained. "Now, concentrate. See yourself grasping the wind. Harness its energy."

Using his Anemo powers, Aether was shooting at the back of the Dragon, and [Name] was holding his fingers out like a gun as a small energy ball was shooting from his fingertips.

The dragon roared as he made his escapes. The wind made Aether close his eyes. "The other gods will be happy of your return." The mysterious voice whispers. [Name] was confused as his hair was blowing in the wind. He recognised the voice now...

[Name]

"Barbatos? Hmph, You still haven't change over these past few years..."

[Name] smiles as he mumbles quietly
