Luke's POV

"Hey chase I need to head home now." I had looked at the time on my phone and it's already 8 p.m. How is it almost 8 p.m!? I got to the park at 4. I have never talked to someone so much in my life! I don't know what it is but I have this pull towards Chase. I feel like I could trust him completely and tell him anything.

"Already?" He whines like a baby going to bed. He also sounds a little sad.

"But we need to exchange numbers so we can talk later." I say hoping to cheer him up.

"Ok!" He perks right up. Pffft. He's so cute.And definitely my type but I don't know if he swings that way. From the way he talked earlier I say he does but I want to make sure and get to know him better. I don't want to ruin our friendship either. I can't believe I have a friend.

" Can we hang out tomorrow?" He asks.

"Sorry I can't. I work tomorrow." I say. He looks down disappointedly. Suddenly he perks up.

"What time do you get off." He asks hopefully.

" At 8. Why?"

"Well I can pick you up then we can hangout. Then I can drop you off." He says excitedly.

" Well I guess that wouldn't be so bad." I say jokingly with a smile.

"Great where do you work?"

"Donnie's auto shop."

"I know where that is. See you tomorrow Luke."

" See you tomorrow Chase." We wave as we walk away. I'm so excited about tomorrow. This'll be the first time I hangout with a friend!

The Next Day

Uh. School. I should just skip today. I can't though. If I skip to many days they'll fail me and make me retake senior year and that is not an option. I'd drop out before repeating senior year. Let's get the torture of my life over with.I get ready and I have to rush to catch the bus. I board and of course I have to sit in the front because all the seats in the rest of the bus are full. Everyone always makes me sit in the front with the annoying little kids. One time I got puked on. Let's just say I hate the fucking front. But it's preferable to walking so I endure.

We get off and I race to first period. If I get there early enough I can avoid the bullies in the hallway. I take my seat in the front. Yes the front again because everyone hates me.Even the geeks and emo's. It's like there is a social hate chain and I am at the top. Someone everyone hates. I mean it's not like it's my fault I was born with these eyes. And it doesn't give any points that I'm gay. I was basically made to be a social pariah, I'm the teenage Boo Radley.

So the rest of my classes go pretty smoothly. I only get a couple notes about being a fag and only a couple spit balls. I was surprised so little happened to me today. Then lunch rolls around. It's lunch and I'm sitting guess what? Alone. I'm minding my own business eating my cardboard pizza from the he cafeteria when Blair, her boyfriend Ryan, and Chuck, Ryan's best friend, walk up to my table. I hate these three, they make my life a living hell.

"Hey faggie." Blair says in a sickly sweet tone that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

"Yes Blair." I grate out in an irritated tone.

"Hey that's no way to talk to me faggie. Ryan grab him. Let's see how he likes what we're about to do."

I panic and start to make a break for it but he's quicker than me. Damn Jocks.

"Take him to the bathroom ." She orders out. I start to struggle in Ryan's grip. Everyone in the cafeteria just looks away allowing this to happen. I'm about scream for help when Ryan claps a hand over my mouth.

"Stop struggling and be quiet. When we get to the hallway act like everything is normal and walk with us. If you get help from a teacher you'll have no proof and then whatever we do to you will be twice as bad." He says in a threatening tone. I knew something was off today.

We got to the hallway and we all start walking. I wish Chase was here. I'm so scared I just walk. I can barely breath. Then we make it to the bathroom.

"I'll keep watch. Take him in there and show him what happens to fags." Ryan and Chuck take me in the bathroom and lock the door.

"Ok fag. Get ready. You'll wish you were never born when we're done with you." Chuck says. And by his tone I already do.
