The Next Night

Yuma's P.O.V

I stared at the girl in front of me who had a strong expression but underneath it had been one of fear and worry. I guess her keys were nowhere near ordinary house keys knowing that she had gone this far to get them. "What is it that I owe you?"

"Your life" Her eyes widened at my words.

"My...life" She glared at me.

"Knowing that these keys are somehow important to you, I know that your life is possibly the only thing I could trade." Her keys began to glow and the one with the star sign Leo heated up. Burning me in the process.

I dropped the keys and she went for them. Tripping in the process. I stepped on her keys causing her eyes to widen. "Please" I glared at her.

"I will crush them and you know it." I applied more pressure to the keys making her gasp.

"Please" The door burst open and there appeared Mr. Matsubara. Who glared at the both of us.

Lucy's P.O.V

I sat in the nurse's office with Yuma and Katsuyoshi as the nurse examined me. Yuma glared before he smirked. I glared at him and looked away. I heard a jingle and looked at his left hand to see my keys.

The nurse looked at Katsuyoshi before she looked at the door. The two walked out of the room, leaving the two of us alone. For the second time this week.

Soon after Yuma walked over to me and grabbed my wrist. He yanked me off of the nurse's bed and pushed me into a wall. Pinning my arms on both sides of my head. "I will show you, what I meant when I said that I had not been finished with you." He yanked down the shoulder of my blazer and put his head in between my neck.

"Stop" Almost immediately after I said that I felt a sharp pain sink into my neck. I tried to push him away but the pain had grown. Letting me know that he had been much stronger than me. He backed away giving me time to stomp on his foot before I left the nurse's office. Forgetting why I had been there in the first place.

Yuma's P.O.V

As we sat in class Lucy couldn't help but stare at me. She must have known that she had done something wrong. Something that had hurt her deeply. Once the bell rang for lunch and Mr. Matsubara left she walked up to me.

The class became silent. The fact that she walked up to a Mukami angrily. Worst of all me had been something that everyone avoided.

"I will do it," I smirked at her before I tossed her keys. She caught them before she let out a small smile. "Thanks" The class went back to normal (kind of due to the fact that they wanted to know what she promised to do). I wrote on a slip of paper and placed it on Lucy's desk before I left the room.

Lucy's P.O.V

As I stared at the note I worried about what it said. I opened the note and read it. 'Meet me on the roof after school.' It had been then that I noticed what I signed myself up for.
